So who then? Al haymon?
Technically no, but in actuality yes.  All the PBC fighters are Haymon fighters.  Haymon has a bunch of promoters under his wing like Floyd and Lou Dibella, so Al can act as manager and promoter and circumvent the Ali act.

Officially Al is his manager.  Spence isn't under contract to a promoter, like Thurman, Broner, and DSG.  I don't think most of the big PBC fighters are under contract to a promoter.

I agree with you on crawford

Prince Nas was the man. I really wish he kept boxing.

Those somersaults over the top rope.

The akward angles he threw pubches at were a double edge sword. To many hand injuries ruiined his career. But his entrances were worth ppv alone lol

I don't know much about boxing...but to my knowledge (and correct me if I'm wrong)

-There's 4 boxing "leagues" or whatever you call it
-Mayweather had 3/4 welterweight title belts for 3/4 of those leagues (until he was stripped of one)
-Kell Brooke is currently the IBF welterweight champion

Why didn't Floyd go after the IBF belt to have all 4??
No need. He is the lineal champ everyone knows it and sanctioning fees were a reason he gave

Because Floyd wanted the easy route to retirement. He didn't want to give the fans what they want, and instead fought a subpar washed up easy opponent like Berto Still a top 12-15 ranked boxer doe. Even with the sanction fees to pay, it's still pennies to him. There's actually 5 different belts, WBC, WBA, WBO, IBF, and The Ring. Technically not really considered "leagues".

Im confused, who else is left at this point? If he fought khan people would say the same thing.

Im happy he fought berto it gave real fans a chance to see him live this past saturday
Dude is on another level. You got old folks sayin he wudnt have lasted in the 80s or 90s yet no one discredits marciano like that lol

Also I got to meet Keith One time this weekend real cool down to earth dude was in the MGM grand solo and is happy to talk to the fans

anytime a GOAT HW discussion comes up, there is always a mention of the weak era Marciano fought in.  And how had he fought in a stronger era, he most certainly would have gotten an L because of his lack of technical skill, and reach.

What more did u want out of Floyd?

I would have rather not have him fight Berto. I can see the question marks now in the future, if Brook or Thurman beat one another, there will be that question mark, "Damn I wonder how Floyd would have fared well with (the winner b/w Brook and Thurman)." Neither Brook or Thurman deserve Floyd, but they deserve it more than Berto for sure.

Also the IV injection prior to the Pacquiao fight sort of caught me off guard. I still think he's top 12-15 boxers of all time, but the injection is a question mark.

Of course little g turned down the fight with Ward but want to fight a smaller guy like Mayweather. Shame on you little g.

Wth has Thurman fought? He almost got KO'D by a bum his last fight and u think he "deserve" to fight Floyd?

You keeping adding "he's top 12-15 boxers of all time." No way in hell you can objectively name 14 boxers better than Floyd.

Judging by majority of your post, you are not knowledgable in boxing. So I know you can't name 14 better boxers.

Honestly, I'm a Ward dude, he's my hometown boy, but didn't he just semi-retired and came back to fight a commentator bum? Ward has to start over and fight some top dogs now. GGG is now a PPV guy, with his upcoming fight. Ward still can't sell out his own home town arena. Trust me, I've been there. Dude only got 300k viewers on BET.

Robert Guerrero? Same dude who fought Floyd? Keith almost got knocked down by Soto Karass. It's funny, people discredit a man for "almost getting knocked out" but credit a man who "almost got knocked out" but say they have a lot of heart.

First off, top 12-15 boxers of all time means he's in that, but he's not necessarily #12 or #15. Wow. With all the boxers, that's a good "top". SMH damn at some kids.

No **** this dude. I said 14, because you are implying that there can arguably be 14 boxers better than Floyd.

Judging by your knowledge, you can't name 11 boxers better than Floyd.

Edit: You said Keith Thurman deserves a fight with Floyd because he fought Guerrero?

Ok......

I chose 12-15 because I can't just pick a number right away which one he is. It's like me asking you who your starting 5 is for basketball, there's a whole pool of talent right? Damn you must be bored as hell posting on NT in your Blackberry 2 pewping in your toilet.

Then why not say 1-15? I know you can't name 14 better boxers, that's why I called you out...
I can easily choose my starting 5 for basketball.

You called me out because you're taking things personal with me man. You still won't forget how I post-owned you before to a whole new dimension in a different thread. You're posting and arguing out of anger. It doesn't take much brain cells to see that "He's in 1-15 top boxers" is the same as "He's in the top 15" boxers. Holy hell man.

Likely, in your eyes, you think Floyd is #1. But in reality, it's hard to compare who's better because you couldn't compare them since they all had different opponents and different times. It's like saying either Lebron or Jordan is better than the other, well you can't establish any of that due to the different opponents they faced. Sugar Ray Leonard, Roberto Duran, Sweet Pea Pernell Whitaker, Hearns, etc at WW may have better luck against Floyd compared to this era. So I really can't pin point a number.

Take the L bro better luck next time.

When the hell did you ever own me?
You really think I'm angry? Someone not agreeing with you, makes them angry? You must be soft, son.

Do you realized that you just contradicted yourself? How can you rank Floyd 12-15, then say it's hard to compare because they all had different opponents and different times. How were you able to come up with a ranking of 12-15? Bruh, if you were just talking out of your ***, then just say that. I have to take the L because you can't pin point 14 better boxers; then how the hell can you say where someone is ranked all time if you haven't even put together a list? :smh:
Also, I never said Floyd was #1, but I was definitely interested in you naming 14 better boxers. You failed; now lets just move on.

Didn't Ward turn down Golovkin three times though?
I don't know about the other two times, but the last they offered it, they offered 164 with a 50/50 split.  If Ward wants the fight at 168, he's not getting 50/50, and I don't blame GGG and K2 for that.  GGG is the A side, and Ward has no fan base.  Even his own city don't really **** with him.

You said this, you "called me out". It's obvious you have resentment towards me man...other people have different opinions than yours but you don't say anything (or at least be negative towards them).

I was giving the example because I didn't know where to exactly put Floyd Mayweather between 1-15...It would take some time to think, so why would I list out all the boxers? Don't you know there are numerous other boxing greats out there to fit that 15? And since when was a top 15 a bad thing like you seem to imply it? Just allow the L to digest bro.

Apparently your username is letsgetit, but it looks to me, that you don't get it at all.

People complain about him going after smaller guys in Floyd, Canelo (really isn't smaller), and Cotto.  But they want him to fight a guy whose last fight was at 172, and who fought in the Olympics at 178

GGG isn't a huge middleweight.  He only rehydrates to like 170 on fight night.  Canelo will actually probably outweigh him when they fight.

I feel like some of these guys are hating on the dude just to hate on him.

Dudes are yapping that he should jump up in weight to fight Ward when he hasn't even finished the business he has in the middleweight class. Not to mention Ward needs to clean up 168 again since he basically just fought a nobody on BET.

Ward is my dude and all, but how can you criticize Golovkin for not going up in weight and wanting to unify. If you want a big fight, then hit up Kovalev. Golovkin already established himself in a cushy spot where he gets the winner of Canelo/Cotto.
