Tyson-Holyfield. I still remember as a youngster how Holyfield avoided Tyson during the 80s.

Holyfield vs Tyson had that good vs evil undertones [emoji]128514[/emoji] [emoji]128514[/emoji] [emoji]128514[/emoji]. I remember that Holyfield was my grandma's favorite boxer because he was a Christian. I miss grandma.

everyone just keeps pointing their fingers around. "We are not an impediment to this fight.

We stand ready to go.

The principals need to agree to terms and come to a deal." HBOboxing

They don't want it. It's as clear as day. Going on 7 years of "no he did it!" Back and forth talk.

Now this dude arum wants to say they are runnin out of time for a may 2nd date. Da fuqs thats sposed to mean *****?!?! Shady *** dude.

Arum can't seem to be able to just shut the F up. Clearly Floyd wants to announce this **** on HIS TERMS and arum being the **** boy that he is continues to run his mouth which is really not helping anything. He needs to just be a ghost. Literally

With all the 'money' and 'power' mayweather has, it seems like he should be able to get out of dealin wit arum and just be clear about where he stands in the possible fight, and whats to be expected as far as his opponent and date etc, seein how he is pound for pound champ and so on and so on.

Even tho through multiple foghts it has shown politics run the sport, with this so called 'mega fight' that boxing is strictly 'politics' and who outside the ring can benefit from the brawl.

Mayweather and Arum are both equally full of it. Neither want the fight enough to put their egos aside. Manny is a fool for sticking with Arum, but he is the only one that really wants the fight and at this point it is just for a payday.

I really think they only met at the basketball game just so they can both say they tried their best to make it happen.

Fixed, I find it funny one of them knew the other was going to attend, and wore the other's flag on their sweater.

I hope this fight is for the WBO Junior welterweight title. If no title is in play I think it is a bad fight for Matthysse and Provodnikov. Who wins this fight?

Lucas via vicious KO. Ruslan gotta get them boxing skills up to snuff can't just brawl anymore vs this type competition

He can't do that because Manny would not betray Bob like that.

Carl Froch vacates IBF title.

LONDON -- Carl Froch has vacated his IBF super middleweight title because of an elbow injury, and given a chance to fellow British boxer James DeGale to claim it.

Carl Froch will vacate his IBF super middleweight title because of an injured elbow.
The 37-year-old Froch was hurt in training, ending hopes of meeting Julio Cesar Chavez Jr. in Las Vegas on March 28.

Froch (33-2, 24 KO) says, "It's been a frustrating couple of weeks with terms agreed for the Chavez fight, only for me to be unable to proceed in camp due to injury."

He won the belt in 2012 and successfully defended it four times, most recently last May by stopping George Groves at Wembley.

He retains the WBA crown, which he won in 2013 against Mikkel Kessler. Froch still hopes to line up Chavez this year.

DeGale (24-1, 14 KO) was the IBF's mandatory challenger, and in negotiations for a fight in London in April.

Lucas is a better boxer, but Ruslan's got a chin... I don't think he's getting KO'd

Lucas got rocked a couple times by Swift. I just know damn well this would be a bloodfest! :smokin

Only way Ruslan loses by TKO is if he gets cut, he has some fragile skin and that's what I'm predicting; a doctor's stoppage TKO win for Lucas due to a bad cut around Ruslan's eye. I want Ruslan to win though despite being a fan of Lucas.
