HAS TECHNOLOGY GONE TOO FAR ? Vol. BMW i8

Your iPhone tracks your every move, and the front and rear cameras record everything you do. Add the fact that since the touch sensors are on all devices your fingerprints are being collected... even if you have the feature turned off.

Technology is only used for profit and not for the better of humanity, polluting the world, etc.

wouldn't say has gone too far. would say hasn't gone in the right direction
I agree with this. I feel technology today tries to keep us occupied with too many things wherever we go. There never really is that "break" from technology. I find it pointless to have WIFI on a refrigerator or a touch screen to tell you the weather, when your phone of the TV is within arms reach.

Technology is working towards convenience, but I feel that convenience has made many people lazy.

Example, people who don't know how to turn on their headlights in the evening. Just because your daytime running late turn on automatically doesn't mean all your lights are on.

Technology education needs to start being more prioritized. Everything from screen brightness, Carpo Tunnel syndrome, Radiowaves, distraction, etc. None of these are ever mentioned to anyone and you can can only find spare info on them in the back of manuals.

Tight.

So you drop all that dough and if you open your hood by yourself it'll crack under its own weight? :rolleyes Sounds dumb af. And then the emergency door opener is easily broken? :smh: So what purpose does it serve in an emergency if you break it?

Nice work BMW.

Lmao!!! Exactly. "don't press the corner, count down about 6 to 8 inches and THEN press down firmly"

bad accident
car spins off into lake/river/canal next to road
disoriented from impact
CAR IS SINKING!
push door release button. Doesn't work!
grab and pull manual release lever
snaps right off in hand
die

 and there's a group and designers and engineers who actually approved these designs

Reminds me of when someone pointed out how dangerous lambo doors would be if you flipped your car.

I think the i8 is pretty sick from a looks standpoint, but I wouldn't seriously think about copping one till they fix some of this stupid stuff. Oh, and money might be an issue...lol

BMW knows what they're doing. They want the car to break easily so it can be in the BMW shop often.
