As far as raw authenticity, Tropic Thunder is unmatched. I felt like I was actually on the battlefield taking on the vietcong with Robert Downey Jr in blackface.

I dont care for war movies but
By FAR the best
generation kill and the Pacific were both great. The Pacific was just so much more brutal than BOB, European theatre was much more romanticized than the Pacific. The Pacific was hard to watch at times. Also not a movie, but worthy of a mention, is Generation Kill.
Casualties of war
By the looks of the trailer goat war movie fittna be merican sniper.
Or does the story of a soilder not apply.
movie been out, definitely NOT touching Black Hawk Down.
Anyone else think that Pearl Harbor sucked ****?
Red Tails too, movie was trash.

I read a while ago that hanks and them were going to do a ww2 air corps miniseries but I'm not sure of its status, but I'm sure it would be excellent like the others.
Also, read that hbo just ordered a Vietnam miniseries based on the book the thin grey line. I'm really looking forward to this, whenever it happens.
yeah, I just recently saw it for the first time and it'sWatched Fury last night....holy ****! Movie was absolutely EPIC. 10/10 in my book.
