NFL/NCAA FEET & GEAR: '15-'16 SEASONS FOOTBALL EQUIPMENT/CLEATS/GLOVES/JERSEYS ETC.

Here's my pics of the SB Untouchables. The swooshes change color from orange to green (like the LeBron 11 King's Crown), and the white area is slightly iridescent, but mostly just looks white. The plate is ridiculously awesome. These cleats would've been perfect for Miami, too bad. Gonna be a tough call for me on which ones to keep, I'd keep both if I could sell my once-used VC 2014s, for 100, but I doubt I can.

The fit and comfort are awesome - I think def TTS and while I haven't tested them out yet, just wearing them inside briefly I already feel pretty certain these are the best cleats I've ever had. My previous favorites were the Vapor Jet 4.2s

jayli, with that chrome plate, how long does it last before it starts to flake off? And they come with those shoe forms or are those yours? blueprint10, I hate Oregon but that's a fantastic buy, get it at an outlet?
 
I've had cleats last at least a year without much of the chrome flaking off. The one thing I learned is to not play in them when it rains or snows - moisture seems to make it flake off really fast. I also basically only play on fieldturf fields, which I think helps them last longer since there's no moisture from grass. The Untouchables come with those shoe forms, it's for the top sock-like area of the shoe.
 
same...I have multiple pairs of chrome plate cleats and none of them are chipping. only play predominantly on field turf. just be smart when you wear them.

jayli...man those look nice. thanks for the pics. that iridescent plate is mean! that and a gold plate are the only kind of cleats missing from my game rotation. still think I am going to stick with the silver joints though.
 
I played Sunday in the pouring ran and man my big toe caught the only big blood blister...

I taped up one big toe but not the other :smh:

I picked it up from "City Gear" in the mall I work at. They also had the authentic LSU jerseys but sold or well before bowl season. I don't think they knew what type of gem they had on their hands. They were just trying to get rid of it because they lost the national championship. They originally offered it to me for $40 bucks but when i declined, they said "oh yeah, I forgot to mention you'll get an additional 50% off" - SOLD

Damn dude, you drive a hard bargain, I would have bought a jersey for $40 lol.

I wanted an XL but all they had was 2XL ... but at $20 I couldn't pass it up. I just wet it and ran it through the dryer and now its perfect.

^, I recognized the wood deck right away lol. This same dude has FSU Vapor Talon Elites and Alpha Pros for sale too. Very dope, but never spending $500 on a cleat for craps sake that I would never wear anyway.
 
Anybody have experience with playing in soccer boots? Trying to decide if I want to to cop those BHM Mercurial Superfly joints to train in. Play DB, so I know the weight of them are A1. Wondering how cutting and planting works though?
 
JJ Watt is a FA, he's wearing Nike gloves when UA made gloves for the Pro Bowl too.

these are def not tts...i wear a size 9 on regular shoes, called up nike asked what size should i get they told me size 9.5 cause they run like nike basketball shoes, got the size 9.5 practice running routes and played a quick pick up game and took off my left cleat after 2 hours with my big toe black and blue, i was so ******* pissed bro i should of known not to listen to nike because all my other cleats are size 10 but i was worried about the flyknit. they are def top notch but i am very upset so i have this size 9.5 for sale if anyone who needs for $130 plus shipping.

I guess it's different for everyone. The Vapor Talon Elites felt .5 size too big for me, so I was expecting the same from the Untouchables. But to my surprise the 9 felt perfect - I like my cleats to fit tightly. If all of your other cleats were a 10, then sticking with that would have been TTS for you. If you still have the receipt, you can return them to Nike for a refund if it's within 30 days...
