Yellowed basically.

I just recently stumbled upon them after I thought I got a steal on ebay to double up on them. After the initial "woah those were cheap" moment wore off, came to my senses and wondered why, hoped on YouTube and started seeing all the GM/fake vids. Requested a refund and got it right away.

Until some side by side videos start showing up, or you're buying from a VERY reputable seller, I wouldn't buy a pair at the moment. Too early to tell, and looking @ some of the videos and comparing them to my legit pair, very few noticeable differences.

Back of the stitched "1" in a few videos look off, and the heel tab looks a bit transparent too, but those could be chalked up to QC issues, or the fact that my legit pair has been worn a lot and is now pushing 6 years old.

Sorry for the wall of text, but if I was in the market for a pair, I'd hold off my search for a few months until some real good side by side comparisons start to come up.

These are the new fake DB6s IMHO. Soles show no age, this was an 09' release..The lazering is not deep and sharp like the legit pairs. Also the 1 on the heel seems off.. I would not mess with this pair personally.
 
No good here. Those soles are way too white and the circle stitching around the 1 looks too thin to me. As mentioned above be real careful with these right now. Always get tagged pics and use paypal to protect yourself.
 
Yeah. The soles were weird to me. In person they aren't white.. It's kinda like a pale yellow.

Trust me these are no good. He probably wore them a time or two and cleaned them up would be my guess for the slight yellowing.Unless he tried to age them himself somehow.

Here is also a MS pic from 09' showing the 1 on the back for comparison...MS uses Legit pix usually even though they mix stock or flat out sell fakes most of the time

they look great man somethings like quality cant be faked but sometimes they can come close the sole sort of matters but itll be hard to tell because sole protectors can be continually placed on shoes but what does the inside of the toung say one should say "what time is it" the other "gametime!"

As I stated earlier..Decent fakes are flooding the market right now..Everything that can be produced can be faked..Don't be naive.



IF you're buying DB6s today and the sole is not well yellowed and the 1 is not the correct font with a thick border, as well as other tells.. They are 100% fake plain and simple..There is a definite difference in the yellowing from age vs yellow from wearing something...Sole protectors, silica packs, zip locks etc. etc. can't stop it..
 
Just thought of this, what would happen if I use a bar code scanner (red laser), will the fake pair still show as to a legit pair?

most if not all high end fakes will..A scanner is in no way an accurate means to LC a pair of kicks these days..They just replicate all of the real UPCs etc now. The shoes will have tells..They always do.
 
I'm came across a pair very similar to those and I even used this link to help argue my point. There is a lot of these on the net. Funny thing is if you bid vs selling them for 900-1.5 k you actually flip these for four or five hundred but thanks you guys for the post don't get caught up getting these kicks. Does anyone have any info on flaws or db6 misprints? Local consignment shop (usually on point/never had issues or questioned them before) got pair of db6 but both tongues read "gametime" instead of one reading "what time is it". They claim theyve seen them like this before. All else checks out though. Anyone heard/seen/purchased pairs like this before????

Its possible i guess..I would need to see pictures of the actual pair to verify authenticity.

You probably wont..This (if legit) would be like a fluke pair that got past QC..There wouldnt be many if anymore pairs like that probably. Its definitely not like a known occurrence..

It would be comparable to something like this..They are 100% legit RDs, but with one tiny flaw :tongue:
