Coachella 2015 (nm lock me)

a little tip for people trying to buy multiples. after you get through with your first purchase click the banner at the top to start over again instead of waiting in line again. that was has worked for me the last 4 years.  also if a friend gets through before you just give them your info and have them purchase a ticket for you.
 
the lineup def reflects the music of 2014 all the artist who had a decent album are on the ticket.

I feel like the line up is underwhelming to people because last year was a down year for music.
 
Doing Weekend 2. The Yuma Tent is going to be nuts this year, the techno/deep/tech house lineup is insane.

nah this would require Capp at the very least to be anywhere near correctly done.  U God, RZA, GZA, Masta Killa, that Raspberry chick (vocals on Rainy Days) and Nas.  Oh and Mef too.  But hey I dunno how these guys are getting along these days maybe it's possible. 

Tame Impala has a new album coming out this year , be interesting to see what they play since they did little pieces from Lonerism here and there before it was out. I've only seen their shows on youtube and it looks like all their best performances take place outside of the USA.  Any Tame Impala fans on here?

Belle and Sebastian, The Weeknd, FKA, Toro all on the same day. 

Overall, the lineup looks good. Yesterday, I considered the possibility of going, but found out it was sold out shortly after.
 
looks like they're on the secondary market so it's not too late . CapitalCityTickets or somethin. 
 
Definitely looking forward to Coachella. This'll be my first time going, any tips from the vets?

Haven't got my wristband yet. Had a few things go down that will prevent me from going this year unfortunately, bummed because I had so much fun last year but can't really do much about it.


As far as sneaking in liquor I literally filled 4 water bottles with different ****, even if it wasn't clear colored, and put it in the secondary pocket of my backpack. Eye test whoever you want to get checked by and just open one of the backpack pockets when they check and they usually let you by without checking the rest. I accidentally snuck in large scissors I didn't know were in my backpack multiple days :lol:

Go to one of the younger dudes doing security checks and they wont go for your D :lol: If you're camping be careful with doing illegal **** during the daytime at your site, I had a security dude roll by on a bike when i was flicking a baggie and I lost a looooooot of money because of that.

these aren't the best but you can get a lot of them in. also airplane size bottles are easy for girls to get in. i was able to get a plastic flash i tucked into my pelvic region on my pants.

We do all cans. We have a huge cooler and they barely skim the top of it. We're going to try sneaking in some bruery goodies at the bottom of the cooler this year.

I have no idea how I did it but I was able to walk into the venue itself with a beer can 2 out of the 3 days. You can also always sneak in a skin(bag) flask in your pants.

Going weekend one! See you guys there!
 
i rented a house about 5 miles away. we are planning on driving in. has anyone ever done this before? how early do the parking lots fill up?

I've done camping off site and driven in. There's not too much to worry about getting in. People trickle in all hours of the day so it's distributed and somewhat orderly. It's the getting out part that sucks. Almost everybody stays through the headliner for the respective nights and leaves at the same time. Be prepared to wait 2 hours stuck in the lot. Have a cooler in the car with food and drinks

I've done offsite hotel one year. I never had an issue going into the venue. I came and went and remember parking at 2pm, and 7 pm and never had an issue. Leaving was a nightmare. We just slept in the car till 2 to avoid traffic. At the end of the day you'll be so beat you won't mind it. But the walk to the car at the end of the day to the back of the lot is seriously the worst thing ever when you're exhausted.
