Brooooo......so many *** cheeks out all weekend. When did this become socially acceptable? Or am I just getting old?

3rd coachella in the books as i went weekend 1 and had a blast. having mad FOMO right now for those going weekend 2. a few tips:

-stay hydrated. you'll be walking a lot from stage to stage and it'll take a toll on you, especially with sun beating down on you. apparently it's supposed to be hotter this weekend. one of my friends had a fitbit on for the weekend and it calculated that he walked 30 miles for the weekend.

-avoid the uber and taxi lines at the end of the night if you're not camping. the wait lasted hours. i'd suggest walking about a mile out of the venue and calling a lyft.

-i second whoever said to go to the do lab. that place was dope. they have people have spraying water into the crowd, so it'll be a nice refresher from the heat.

-security is pretty chill there, so if you are partaking in any party goods, just be smart about it.

-lastly, there are going to be a grip of people. you'll be trying to maneuver your way through the crowds of people.

as for the music:

-i surprisingly liked Florence + the Machine the most. She broke her foot during that performance so she may dial it down a bit this weekend, but those going weekend 2 should still check it out.

-edm acts i saw and enjoyed: flosstradamus, duke dumont, kaskade, dirty south, dj snake, and yellow claw. (as you can tell, i stayed at the sahara tent a lot. it gets so live in there haha)

-the weeknd was pretty good. however, axwell/ingrosso's music was bumping at the next stage during the weeknd's set and caught my attention. i wish i didn't leave the weekend since axwell/ingrosso wasn't that good

-was disappointed in drake. i've seen him a few times and this was by far his worst performance imo. he could have brought out a better guest than madonna, which was just weird. also, he did too many slow songs which brought the energy down.

-ACDC rocked it. i only stayed for half, but it was a good experience.

-i also wish there were more guest appearances. seems like this year was lacking compared to last year.

sorry for the long post. those going weekend 2, enjoy!

Exactly how I felt last year. Cheeks was everywhere esp at Cudi's set.

Glad to see you guys had a great time. Did/has anyone done the Safari tents or VIP camping in general? I did regular car camping and never again. Too much to do coming from the east coast. Plus my neighbors were doing acid + coke and tthe port a pottys got disgusting quick. If I go again I'd probably hotel it or go VIP. Figure it would cost roughly the same either way.

I can see how folks who have to fly in would hate car camping. Neighbors are kinda luck of the draw, most are cool but some can be real *****. Port-a-potties weren't bad at my campsite. Didn't have **** piled up above the seat like some I saw at the venue :x

Aren't Safari tents like $6k? If you got it like that, why not?

Apparently Kaskade is doing a Redux set at the Do Lab this weekend. It's gonna be a ****show for sure.

Went to weekend 1, salty as hell I'm not there and having a great time as I was this time last week.

Coachella blues :frown:

I came from NY to do car camping and loved it. You just have to know what you're getting into haha

Also, if you guys are hitting up/hit up the silent disco! Lit

Another great year. Some performances that stood out for me was Glaslamp Killer Experience. Dude was amazing as well as FlyLo. I was upset out SBTRKT he seamed unorganized and didn't drop his hits. Drake was alright. BamBam was actin crazy like always. So many birds this year and they were all down to smoke. Now I gotta drive all the way back home : (
