its about to be 10 years since 50 put out this classic album (vol time flies)

50 aint give Game **** yea he penned a few hooks for Chuck but that's it folks act like he ghostwrote the whole album it was Games raw raspy voice that captured people ears mixed with  his bravado West CoAST rhymes... that was Dre true star not 50 Game catalog is killing 50 hands down The Doc is a mos def classic people sleep like Chuck aint got bars the boy can go toe to toe with any MC in the game #trustory
 
was just listening to the instrumental of Dreams today and still think The Documentary is one of the best rap debut albums of all time...no question about it. :pimp:

it always was overblown out of proportion, you don't ever see Dre or Eminem bragging how they helped 50 with his debut, 50 just a egotistical clown who had to benefit off of beef to sell records. without controversy he's nothing.

Overblown, idk about that.  I guess it depends on who you talk to though.  I know we discussed this in the 50 thread, someone posted an interview that discussed the making of the record with Game, a few A&Rs and producers.  50 did a lot more than just the singles.  That's the reason 50 gets a lot of credit and why this isn't a classic album.  Because without those songs and 50's input, its nowhere as good. 

Of course the producers get credit too.  But you cant say Dre should get credit for GRODT because he didn't write the songs.  Hell, Dre doesn't even write his own songs.

def helped but Dre's beats, 50 cosign, the westcoast hadn't had anything in a while, Game's aggressive street style all made it possible.

Definitely a classic album, i skip maybe 2 tracks.

Also the whole 50 wrote his hooks and whatnot, Game definitely wrote the best hook by far on the album in the title track Documentary

"Ready to Die without a Reasonable Doubt, smoke Chronic and hit it Doggystle before i go out, until they sign my Death Certificate, All Eyes on Me, im still at it, Illmatic and thats the Documentary......
 
The only legends that came out the last 10 yrs, so far is ross, jeezy, gucci, drake

The game never really made a impact, he never had a run as one of the top rappers

If Ross, Jeezy and Gucci are legends then Game is. Dude has just as good if not better albums/mixtapes than 'em and he's outsold 'em.
 
^^^ Exactly he's outsold all the dudes that came out when he did ROSS JEEZY GUCCI (lmao n**** can barely speak english) and is clearly a better MC with the better catalog the man has never dropped a wack album he held down the West from 2005-2012..7 strong years did Snoop do that? Ice Cube? who from the Coast has had a career like him? Scraface is considered a legend has he had a better career than Game?
