E-Cue's

Hey guys, I joined to ask you guys a question. I am not really a shoe collector or anything, but I remember about 8 years ago or so I had a pair of Nike E-cues I bought on sale and they were literally, comparable to none, the best shoes I have ever owned. By for the most comfortable and lasted quite a while. It was a sad day when the soles finally fell off for good and I had to trash them. At that time of course I couldn't by another pair because they quit making them.

My question is would there be anything comparable? I have tried many different style over the years to compete with the comfort of those things, and I have never been able to find anything close. I guess maybe they just fit my foot really good or something. Is there a place I could maybe pick up an old pair that is new in the box, or very very slightly used? I've tried ebay with minimal luck. Or, is there one compatible in style and comfort to them? I've searched some of your older threads on here and it looks as if they didn't do so well in the stores, and I dont know why, I personally love the looks of them; but I can see why they might not have been a hit.

Anyway. Thanks.

You'll still find e-cues popping up on eBay

Maybe try the Free SB or P-Rod 8

Thanks. I ended up buying the only pair of new old stock size 12s listed on ebay. Im going to have to make a small stock of them for when I wear out this pair I have another pair to wear next, haha.

As for the Free SB and the P-rod 8's. Im going to check into those.

I really like the Zoom Tre. Obviously I would have to find those on ebay too, they are similar looks, but are they the same hidden air bag construction as the E-cue?

Edit: I just checked out both of those. I really like the P-Rod 8. I wish I had a Nike outlet close to me so I could check them out. I suppose next time I am downstate I will have to swing in and try them on.

URL's came out around the same time as E-Cue's. They were similar in design. You might like those. Unfortunately, ebay might be your only option for these now.
I liked skating in both these models even though board feel was less than optimal. I got used to it and they really could take a beating.
