I'm personally glad it worked out this way.  The Clutchfit Drive is my personal favorite to play in at the moment and easily makes my all time best list.  It was also ranked very highly with popular youtube reviewers.  Jordan XX9's are up there too, but they cost almost twice as much.  Curry obviously was killing it in the Drives.  The Curry 1 has similar elements, so I'm hyped.  And it's going to be $5 cheaper.  Look at what happened with the KD line.  Started off inexpensive and then ballooned to his elites costing two bills.  No thanks. 


I don't get what Curry staying with Nike even does for people, unless they have actual stock invested in Nike.  It's one thing to say you are financially invested in a company's success, and therefore you want that company to have the most marketable and profitable athletes as part of the brand.  I would get that.  But to want people to be with a brand just because...

All great points and even though Nike isn't what it use to be, promo wise. Steph would sell a ton more sneakers had he been with Nike. Nike has been the no.1 athletics brand for how many decades now?
 
I think Nike's promotion is actually greater than it's ever been, but again, I don't have anything invested in Nike so it doesn't matter to me.  We know Nike is at the head of the pack by far, and they got new sigs for Kyrie, Harden, Paul George and so on, along with their big 3.

Let's please not turn this into a UA vs. Nike or Nike vs. The World thread, let's just keep it about the SC 1.  We could argue about Nike vs. UA all day and night, but the fact is Curry is not with Nike at the moment, so it's pointless to discuss what could have been.  I know I'm not the only one who would prefer to just see info., release dates, colorways and pictures and all that good stuff.

Gotta pair of ClutchfitDrive's recently in different sizes (TTS and half-size up). For me, after breakin them in, TTS was a better fit.

but if you have a wide-foot going a half-size up isn't that outrageous, might have some issues w/ your foot sliding if you plan on hooping in 'em tho.
 
Still don't know why the are called the Homes but whatevs. The yellow half tongue doesn't look bad I think blue laces will make that look better. Might get them just to test them out since other colorways have staggered release dates unless the ASG drops same day and looks nice.

Same here.  I like the Underdog colorway the best out of the six posted.  The "Homes" second.

I want to see what else they come up with for the ASG and other releases.  Some of the CF Drive colorways had me like whoa, like the USA's for instance, but I haven't seen anything like that for the SC1 yet.
 
Im in for the away. Ive been wearing nikes to hoop my whole life (minus the TMAC 3s) 

Ive heard nothing but great things about the CFs so im hoping the Curry 1s are impressive 
 
I'm looking forward to these but trying not to let my expectations get sky high.  I'm sure they'll be awesome, but who knows

Finishline has a color listed on that date with the homes as black/purple in mens and a kids color pride /black

blue doesnt even match lol ...wish it were a bit darker....im still leanin towards the black pair
 
has anyone played in them yet? how do they compare to hyperdunks/other UA models etc?
 
They release to the public 2/13.

You'd have to ask someone who was able to get their hands on them early, people like Nightwing and Kickgenius.
 


Nice review looking forward to hearing Nightwing and KickGenius opinions before I make that final decision.. Love my Clutchfits don't want to be let down by these..

The BHM Clutchfit Drive Low owns both of them.

The Curry BHM looks okay, but again, very SA Spurs-ish.  I like the Spurs so that doesn't bother me, but the CW isn't going to blow anyone away.  Still waiting for a CW that makes me say "WHOA".

Plenty of CF Drives that did that, but the versions of the Curry 1 so far are just good to okay.  I'd be getting them more because they're Curry's signature than anything else.
