OFFICIAL UA CURRY 1 : CHARGED BY BELIEF. PLAYOFFS RELEASE 5/22 /// MVP'S 6/13

Laugh at narrow minded opinion.
easily see kyrie shoes dominate curry in cw. i like curry in feel and support. an open-minded opinion unlike others.
definitely less nut hugging on curry if kyrie wasn't hurt and played like he normally plays.
hindsight is of course 20/20. but at the time, kyrie was the number 1 pick, being Nike they obviously signed him. after yr 1 and ROY award, it sure looked like a smart decision. then 3 NBA all-star, all-star mvp. this was before getting a sig shoe.
while curry was a gamble since he had no real accolades besides most 3s before he received his sig. nike signed him as nike normally throws money around, but nothing came from it. under armour gambled and lucked out before the 13-14 season where his assists and points top off. now with mvp and his family in the picture and FINALS.

so it sure looks like more luck for underamour than nike not predicting the future.

also if steph stayed with nike, i dont think he woulda got a sig until next year. shear luck of UA for having a sig for curry this year.
Well he broke his own single season 3s made record, so I would think that Nike would've had something in the works for him, it would just be a matter of whether or not they slapped his signature on it or went Harden style with ZRtO or Hyperchase.

spotted the clippers fan... not a shot in hell CP3 or Blake are ahead of Curry in terms of marketability. Blake might be close, but CP3 is not close to being ahead of him.

Shoe marketability...debatable. Chris Paul and Blake Griffin have way more endorsements than curry at this point. That's a fact.

I am a clippers fan, but I'm no homer. I'm an objective fan.

Curry will probably overtake them by next season strictly because he's an mvp and maybe soon to be nba champ. His family is an added bonus as well.

Very true. UA took a gamble and it paid off. I'm sure they probably over paid for that time as well. Nike does screw themselves a bit because they only offer good contracts to who they consider big time players. Almost sure that they didn't even try and compete with whatever UA put to the table...although I could be wrong.

When this shoe first was announced, being a Hornets fan, I've had my eyes pretty much only on the Father to Son colorway the whole time. Now with the Finals and the MVP prices, I'm thinking it might be a tougher scoop that originally planned. I also like the Lows that drop on July 3rd. Trying to decide which pair to go after.

Buy what you like, man. I personally never bought a pair of Curry's until the Dubnations and never even considered until I saw the MVPs because I thought the colors that were released were butt ugly.

I took the family to Yosemite this weekend so couldn't cop the MVPs.

Granted, I stopped at 7am at a McDonalds to try to grab a pair, but that McDonalds free wifi wasn't getting me no where :x .

Needed to get a sz. 8.5 for my newphew, hopefully they do a restock if/when they win the championship.

Call me crazy, but I would love to see a championship version released!

I love the UA shoes, crazy comfortable. Great ball shoes.

Thanks for the free shipping code

So crazy to see the day UA shoes get the "Jordan treatment" lol....Curry MVP's on Ebay are listed anywhere from $400-$999.

I wouldnt. They digging themselves an early grave in the bball shoe sig department with the limited crap

Doing nobody but resellers a favor

Don't buy them from resellers. They either return them or lower the prices. I know it sucks they got them in the first place, but all we have to do is wait it out. I'm sure they have bills and expenses so they ain't sitting on these forever.

Agreed. A month from now prices will dropwhen baseball the only thing on tv.

Plus the added bonus of waiting is that hardly anyone else will be wearing them still. Not that it matters a whole lot, but it sort of helps reward the patience.
