OFFICIAL UA CURRY 1 : CHARGED BY BELIEF. PLAYOFFS RELEASE 5/22 /// MVP'S 6/13

I have all the curry ones that came out so far and I gotta say the shoe doesn't perform that great , there mediocre . The kyrie 1 and the clutchfit drive feels a lot better and both has better traction than th curry one imo
Micro G > charged
Anafoam > clutch fit
first time i heard someone say Kyrie 1 over curry one. Might give them a try

I've never heard it either. A couple people love the kyrie but more people dislike it, and reviewed it poorly which is why I never copped. I don't have a pair of clutchfits which were universally praised. Aren't these the same?

my friends that have Kyrie say they slip way more and have moved to the curry lows. it's a good looking shoe though

was browsing through bay and found this listing

http://www.ebay.com/itm/262009757220

from what I see, the shoe shape is little bit off if you see it from the left side

(first picture)

what do you guys think?
these dont look legit to me... check out the "I CAN DO ALL THINGS"... the ebay one has the yellow stitching going thru the blue section & thru the "T" .

i know it's hard to tell from these pix but the ebay "I CAN DO ALL THINGS..." just "looks" shorter in the tongue

$250 is ALOT for this crappy quality..... i'd pass

and alot are saying that Kyrie is just a hyperfuse with a kyrie logo on it...

Did anybody go a half size up or full size up on the mvp's since they re tighter? Anybody balled in them? Appreciate the feedback. Thinking of copping a pair.

People were asking like 280-320 when they dropped.

There's still some sellers up there both locally for me and on the bay.

However, there are a few listings at 225-235.

Hoping that trend continues on these. Would also love to see under 200.
Yeah, can't see myself spending over 1.5x more than retail for a pair of shoes esp since I'm going to ball in them

I am having the same problem. Seems like that would be a fairly easy colorway to find in laces. Somebody needs to get on that asap. [emoji]128526[/emoji]
have you tried checking out lacrosse laces or "shoe laces express . com"?

Then you must not ball in exts or LeBrons. Those can cost $250 easy.
You can find most of the nike signature bball shoes and the xx9's on sale except for a few c/w's or limited ones.

Curry's are the only signature shoe I see sell out often this year besides maybe the most popular kobe x c/w's (fundamentals, rose gold)

Its still a $250 shoe. Not every shoe makes it to discount, but how is selling out relevant though? Selling out doesnt necessarily have anything to do with shoe prices these days. Plenty of signature shoes have sold out besides Kobes this year.
Also UA intentionally kept Curry production numbers low making it much easier to sell out anyway.

Being a $250 shoe doesn't mean it's going to sell at that price. A lot of signature shoes are sitting nowadays because the prices are so high. Unless it's a limited or a hyped c/w it's going to go to discount. I think they were talking about this in the kobe x thread and how almost every colorway has been on discount. Kyries have been selling better than some of the other nike sigs mostly because the Kyrie price tag is more reasonable. I mean it's all preference but I don't think a bball shoe that you play in and beat up should retail for over $160. Part of the reason why people like curry's is because they aren't as pricey as some of the other signature shoes. That's why people were complaining about the price hike on the splash parties, champ packs, and the curry 2.

This is a 1st year shoe though. Definitely not bad for what you get, but I wouldnt claim it to perform like latest Jordans, Kobes, Lebrons, even KDs at this point. This is the 1st year of that shoe give it 10 years like Kobes or Lebrons, if UA keeps making technology improvements, then the Curry's will probably cost the same thing. If I want a HIGH PERFORMANCE shoe that will last all season, usually $200+ these days, then Curry's right now just isnt it.
And thats not why people were complaining. They were complaining because its the same shoe with no "improvements" over the regular model to justify the price increase.
