Makes no sense to me how the blue ones are called the Homes and those aren't. Those should be the Homes and the blues should be the aways but eh, who cares.
 
For you guys that hoop the Currys. Does the chipping on the toe guard look that bad when it happens???

It doesn't look quite as bad as these pics make it seem, but it's definitely not pretty.  The other shoe has minor scuffs, but nothing quite as bad as that.  Still, for hooping they're the best I've played in.

Ankle support compared to the Kobe 8?  Hmm.  I think you mean just by itself.  I find them to be supportive, but also retaining mobility.  The back is cut low and the upper/tongue work well with the ankle.

Grip is on par once wiped, but I think I wiped the Kobe 8 less frequently.  That could just be perception since I haven't played in the Kobe 8 in a long time.

Overall, I prefer the Curry 1.  It feels more natural underfoot, transition is smoother and it's more durable in terms of cushioning.  All on top of it being $20 lower at retail.

I love the hornets colorway. For some reason I want those to ball in. It would compliment the kobe 4s i ball in on the courts

I remember you telling me how the cushioning felt firm when standing and more bouncy when moving. I dunno if it's me thinking about that almost like a placebo but I swear it feels that way when playing...

Loving these man. They definitely have a huarache 2k4 feel to them, so I love it
 
For anyone else from Canada, the shoes are up on sportchek.ca while footlocker is down. Not sure whether the Underdogs and Aways are GR, but since I missed on the Dark Matters, I'm not taking any chances.

Yo yeah they are supposed to feel cushy or sort of soft while standing or walking and more firm at full speed.  I feel like i do get a little of this sensation, but like you said, could be placebo haha
 
About to slip from work for a short bit to try and grab the Underdogs in store.  FTL reward to knock off 10, hopefully they won't sell too fast, no clue though
