Quality of Nike LeBron X "Cork"

How's the quality of the upper on this pair? I know that they're not made for basketball but the fact that they're made of cork is bugging me. I'm thinking about buying a pair but before I even start hunting, I wanna know if this shoe will last more than 5 wears. (I'm not talking about literally here, obviously) Is the cork like "crispy" cork? Like, on a cork board? Or wine cork? Both of those though, doesn't sound like they're durable enough to be used as an upper for a shoe. My biggest concern is unlike normal shoes, which will crease after a couple of wears, these might just start to chip off or crumble. If possible, I would like to see pictures of a pair that's been worn normally. Any feedback would be appreciated though. Thanks in advance.

i have a pair i wear on occasion maybe 10 times, i havent really had any problems with them chipping or flaking. Its like corkboard material so its not stiff or anything so it wont crack.
