Prostitution Vol. Legalize it?

If America legalizes prostitution it would finally shed it's prude act it's been fronting with for the past 40 years since it was and actual legit stance.

Just like legalizing a drug, a lot of the problems ppl falsely assume would run rampant with prostitution would be decreased greatly if not wiped out altogether but the thing is a whole lot of ppl in power would lose out on money that they probably couldn't ever turn around and make back by switching sides.
 
That actually made a lot of sense. Don't know if that's a good or bad thing.

It's a business like any other. They set their own rates. Privatized business. Who controls the rates for massage parlors? Strippers?

Probably no refunds :lol: Most likely a contract like agreement about service to completion. Most likely holiday deals, some open.

They'll definitely pay taxes.

Now that I think about it more. You let prostitution be legal and I can already see the social science talk about how pros are ruining the American family (when they're probably helping it) and/or pros are leading to the decrease in marriages and relationships in general :lol:

Cus women will become more preyed upon than they are now.
They will be looked at as $$$ a recruited heavily.
More women will join that workforce (whether they tell others or not).
Your chances of marrying a former prostitute will go way up ( ppl may not have issue with this, but I would).
Women carry mens DNA forever. ( that **** just sounds gross)
THis will increase street prostituion and child prostitution
 
how will it increase street and child prostitution if its restricted to brothels and regulated for people 18 years or older?
 
All male/female interactions, outside of family and professional environments, run on implied vagina.

If prostitution were legalized, it'd cut out the middle man and create deeper, more meaningful relationships using the people left over.

Its being done now and its illegal. THat wont rise since their some sort of legality attached to it?
Its also cheaper. Not everyone will be able to afford the professional cost.
For every industry, there is a shortcut.

THis industry is a shortcut in of itself. If it ever becomes legit, that shortcut will expand exponentially.

1. How? When it will be legalized and in controlled settings? Also, guys won't have to go to extreme measures like rape just to get some yambs..

2. Money is used to recruit anyone that's talented. Do you get upset when players in pro sports make money, too? If someone is willing to pay you for it, why not?

Women unfortunately and sadly are already preyed upon in American society a lot. So if prostitution becomes legal how much worse will it get 2nd and 3rd world country style where they're getting gang raped on the bus?

Also keep in mind, females aint the only prostitutes out there.

The homosexual hooking economy will skyrocket with legalized prostitution. Same goes for the working women wanting to get theirs

Plus it sounds like you were confused about that thread talking about that. It was about females who get pregnant still carrying their former partners DNA for some time. Not just anyone the have sex with.

No it won't increase street prostitution. It'd make it easier for the police to enforce the law and basically make that type of street crime null and void.

I'd like you to explain how this would increase child prostitution.

At the very least, this being legalized or at least discussed will hopefully spread more awareness and actual facts about sex and squash misinformation that runs rampant.

It's not funny though. It really is that simple a lot of the time.
It's also time we start to remove the taboo factor not just for the prostitute but also for the "trick".
