Wrestling Thread Jan 19-Feb: 1/29 LIVE Smackdown 8pm et - Bryan v Kane Casket Match

Really hope Raw goes on as planned man. I was using it as an excuse to not do school work in this blizzard.

Guess I'm playing NHL

So when D-Bry gets hurt, he loses his spot. But Roman gets hurt and they hold his spot for him.

**** you vince. I seriously haven't been this disgusted in a long time

You know how the WWE operates. If you're not in the WWE breakfast club, you're midcard for life.

Philly is my city so I'll support them no matter what.

Just a shame that the other wrestlers gotta suffer too.

I've never seen SO MANY moving chess pieces to be sacrificed to try and get a single guy over since......Cena
Cena went on an extended beat any/everyone tour. JBL, Jericho, Christian, Kurt Angle, HHH, HBK...and that's off the top of my head. Not to mention any young guys that got thrown to the wayside to build him up.

What happened post WCW? Was it HHH's fault he sucked in TNA too?
He was quite entertaining in TNA. Some very memorable promos and he was still doing frankensteiners at his ripe old age.

He tore Smo joe to shreds on the mic. Hillarious promos with Bubba and Kurt Angle. Honestly he's one of the most underrated guys in the business.

Stiener was gold in TNA

Ok I guess we just see things a lil differently which is ok. I don't hate the dude, was just underwhelmed by his WWE run and I don't think it was all Hunter's fault. That match and a few of the promos leading up to it just stuck with me

Instead of RAW we will get a REPLAY of last nights rumble. with edited crowd reaction for the ending

Question. Would Lesnar vs. Wyatt have been believable for you guys? I could've gotten behind that.
Reigns or D-Bry is the most believable.

I don't mind Reigns, I just mind that he's not over at all and he's being given this shot when last year, Raw literally had to be hijacked after that Bray/cage segment in order for D-Bry to get that opportunity when he was already over to begin with

A majority of us like Reigns but the WWE is making it hard for us to keep liking him

Reigns is going to be boo'ed out of WM31 meanwhile the guy who is leaving will be cheered like he is Hulk Hogan in 1987

Theres a vid out there of Kevin Kelly talking about Steiner. Check that out. May change your opinion. May not but its an interesting .

would've been great storytelling in a match with brock and bryan, what can brock and roman do? honestly, roman can't tell a story in the ring yet. what are we gonna get a 10 minute match? superman punch, spear, apron drop kick, repeat?

I personally don't dislike Reigns. I've mentioned dude has potential and from all accounts(minus his acting classes ) he works hard. But there are some glaring issues that need to be addressed with his character before he wins the title. The force feed treatment isn't something people are going to continue to stand for. And these two things combined with B**** Slow and Konsessions Kane doing damage in the Rumble, too many nostalgia guys, and D Bryan getting eliminated so early led to yesterday's reactions. Triple threat match was the only good match that night and it was amazing. Which made the Rumble look even worse... :smh:
