Wrestling Thread Jan 19-Feb: 1/29 LIVE Smackdown 8pm et - Bryan v Kane Casket Match

Few things.

First point: The final four were two giants and a Russian monster, all who were eliminated by Superman, Roman Reigns.  So there's your answer on that.

Second point: If you had no plans of Bryan to win the Rumble, then why did they rush him back two weeks before the Rumble and put him in the match?  Anyone with half a brain could have told you exactly what was going to happen.  If they kept Bryan off TV until February, things would have been just fine and there would have been none of the backlash.

Third point: I don't see Reigns turning heel.  It would be a much more natural fit, but Vince wants Reigns as the next face of the company.  And as we saw last night, he's determined to do it no matter what the fans say.

Completely agree on all 3 points, especially number 2.

Why not have D Bry come back mid february, face Kane at Fast Lane or something.
I'm convinced Bryan was brought back to boost subscribers heading into their earnings report next week.

Velvet Sky done with TNA. We'll see her in the WWE soon. Bubba Ray dating her so she'll get the hook up.

Guys...if your name was "Vince McMahon" ...what would you do next?

I'd turn Cena heel, push Cesaro, promote Neville, put the strap on D-Bry and line up Dolph for the main event.

i would avoid turning cena heel at all costs
for the kids
THIS,

As much as I want to see a Heel Cena, right now isn't a good time. Brock & Rollins fill the top heel spots well.

I would have Brock win in the same fashion he did, have DBry win the rumble clean over Reigns.

WM31
Brock vs DBry - Bryan win then Rollins cashes in.
Shield Triple threat for the MITB - Rollins win "this imo, puts Jeans and Reigns in the discussion, keeps them both moving up while not pushing them onto the fans"
Cena vs Rusev - Rusev wins.
HHH vs Sting - doesn't matter who wins

But the real story or least the set up so far is

WM31
DBry vs Kane -:x :smh:
Brock vs Roman - Roman wins with help of Sting after the Authority interferes.
HHH vs Sting - HHH wins with help of Brock
Cena vs Rusev - Cena wins

even better, they should have the authority turn on seth and have reigns as their "future". heyman helps reigns win the title at mania, seth tries to cash in. the authority comes out and hunter pedigrees seth to prevent the cash in.

seth becomes their new mega face
reigns is the top heel

just a thought...

This is brilliant.
Have Paul as Roman's mouth piece.
Will never happen.

4W shooting down my whole post
I do see what you're saying though...
However, like others have said, I fully believe Daniel Bryan was back to get more views and that he was never a real option to win.

Alright guys I got a serious question for you..What rating do you give the Triple Threat Title match and how does it stack up to your favorite WrestleKingdom 9 match?..

I still think Nakamura vs. Ibushi the MOTY..I got the B/S/C title match 2nd..And Okada vs. Tanahashi in 3rd..
1. Ibushi vs. Nakamura

2. 3 Way Match

3. Okada vs. TanaHEEshee (As DIsco called him)

I watched Kenta Kobashi vs Mitsuharu Misawa earlier today from 3/1/2003. That was damn amazing.

This is actually perfect booking.

Seth's Phoenix Splash is definitely a glimpse of his future turn.

Honestly, if Shovel H was at the helm, he'd push Rollins as mega face and let Ramen improve gradually.

Phoenix splash was dope but i just don't see Vince allowing that move to continue.

Seth's eventual face turn will be amazing...he would be super over and even more exciting in the ring than he is now. That might pull me back in.
