So much like the Spurs last year, imo. Or even the only other team to beat the LeBrons.

If Teague (Parker, Kidd) can penetrate...

If Korver (Green, Dirk) is hitting...

If Horford (Duncan, Chandler) is working the post...

... that's how you beat LeBron. Simple basketball. Dribble drives from the primary guard to setup outside shots, with someone down low playing cleanup and also helping the guard set everything up with dribble drives.

Teague needs to eat EARLY to tie this up tonight. If he feasts, Korver needs to be ready to knock down.

I'm not going to question Horford, because I already know he's bringing his lunchpail. He's been their most consistent guy.

One thing I didn't understand from game 1 was guarding lebron all the way out on the perimeter. Like when lbj was laughing at millsap for pressing him at half court. I mean I get it u want to make him work. But with the way lbj has been shooting the basketball i do t understand why they don't just play off of him and dare him to shoot. For the most of game 1 they had carroll on an island defending lbj all the way out on the 3 point line. No need to be all up lbj jersey around the 3 point line. Dude is shooting 15% fron 3. Let him shoot anywhere uncontested unless it's in the paint. He can't shoot and his first step is too quick as well. Saw that on his dunk to end the game. Hawks were guarding him like he's some kind of perimeter threat in game 1. Lbj was dominating carroll anyway and Carroll wasn't doing anything offensively in game 1 either. 5 points. I mean am I missing something here? Doesn't really seem like rocket science or anything. Then again I've learned to not question coach Bud cause hes always thinking big picture and long term and I'm just some idiot watching the games lol. He's already gotten us farther than any other coach we've had so no need to question him now.

All those things are very possible to happen. Even without carroll this hawks team cam beat that cavs team. Id try to out athlete the cavs. Hawks got the athletes to do so too. They let cleveland dictate the pace of the whole 2nd half of game 1. Alot of that can he contributed to Jr going off and the 3rd quarter was the scott foster show to say the least. Hawks got all the capable weapons to do this still. Just gotta do it. Alot easier said than done obviously. I think the moment and the celebrities sitting courtside got the hawks caught up in game 1. Teague must live in the paint. Korver has to knock down shots at a respectable rate. Doesn't gotta be 50% but better than 30%. If Jr smith can go off like that so can kyle. Guarding and dealing with 21 year old Bradley Beal last series really beat kyle up in my opinion. He is 34. Horford and Millsap MUST BE more effective offensively than in game 1. Cant let thompson and Mosgov play them to a draw.

Exec of the year(everybody knows Ferry deserved it) gets franchises first conference finals in 50 years. Loses its 6th man month before playoffs in a ugly nypd incident and somehow plugs the hole. All doing so in between a huge racial controversy in the front office and having one of the bottom 5 salaries in the league. I can keep going too. But that's "winning" big time in my book.
