Well might as well turn my focus to the draft. Hopefully get one of those 2 boys from Wisconsin that beat Kentucky with that 15th pick maybe. Sam Dekker ready to step in and take Korver's spot After a season of a little mentoring behind kyle. 7'3 Walter Taveres will prob be brought over from Spain this draft. And we need it. Some kind of Kevin Durant/Giannis Spanish hybrid. Seriously check the vids on dude.

by no means are the Hawks a bad team, you just have to realize that you guys are playing the best player in the world, who has his team clicking even if they are not 100% Atlanta is still fantastic, no one can say they aren't.

Meh I'll take Westbrook and Anthony Davis over Lebron right now. LeBron Is great tho no question. He's finally matured his game with that baby hook shot. Not like he's beating up on a bunch of great players anyway. Not a testament to how good lbj is, is a testament to the hawks checking out mentally and not having the payroll of a title contender. Just shows how weak the league has become. To let this atlanta team make it to the ECF. With a bottom 5 pay roll. And Al Horford as their highest paid player Makin 12.5 a year. Hawks have no mvp candidate like the other 3 teams left have.

lbj still aint winning no ring this year lol. Best player In the world and has his team clicking still gonna get steamrolled in the finals by the dubs. Didn't matter who came out the east the dubs are not being stopped. Not even the refs can save lbj this season for what's coming his way next round. Could be worse on him than last year's finals. Get another Eastern Conference champions banner for cleveland tho. Least we got a world series in Atlanta. Against Cleveland too

Demarre Carroll - paid 10 mil and kept

Draft Sam Dekker
Draft Walter Taveres
Sign Brook Lopez, Lamarcus Aldridge, or Marc Gasol. U paid Joe Johnson 20 mil u can pay one of these big men 20 mil a year.
Really quite simple really.
Schröder, Muscala, Bazemore and Scott will continue to develop. Thabo will be back.
Very optimistic bout next season. Ferry has really set this team up for the next few years to come that even an idiot like me could figure it out. If they let Ferry go I'll be pissed. Wouldn't make any damn sense anyway and I can guarantee there are about 25+ other teams that would sign him too.

Every single starter for the hawks has now suffered an injury this post season. Has that ever even happened before lol. I'm sure it has.
Horford - broke finger
Millsap - Strained shoulder
Carroll - knee hyper extension
Korver - sprained ankle
Teague - sprained ankle
-Right before post season 6th man thabo gets nypd'd.
Scott, and Schröder both suffered injuries right before the playoffs started as well. Injuries has ruined the season for every team this season except the dubs.

Yea see, this is all excuses your making here. Its not the Hawks just checking out, its lebron getting his team to play better defense and to score. The Hawks are doing what they do, its just that The Cavs are on another level. Its a shame that your team goes down 0-2, and all of a sudden you switch and say they are nobodies, all just to discredit what lebron is doing to your team. As soon as you realize that lebron is really as great as they say he is, the more you wont have to go through this dis heart of getting beat every year, because you will know, if you face Lebron its going to be a big challenge, no matter what.

I honestly have no answers man. That team looked like a completely different team last night. Going iso all the time. Not making wide nope shots. Not shooting with any confidence. Not hustling. Made lbj look like magic Johnson out there. Coach wasn't making proper adjusments. Teague, horford, millsap all playing scared and small and lazy

I really appreciate that. Not a good look for the site anyway in any teams thread after playoff losses. That's why we have team threads so guys can like him can go the cavs thread and trash talk the hawks all he wants. I'm not surprised about what all was said last night. But I dunno who they're saying it to cause I've already said multiple times that making the ECF for thr first time ever was it for me. Always was. And they had already won in my eyes. So trash talking me for losing to lbj now is kinda pointless imo.

been happening since the 1st round of the playoffs. Were one of the top shooting teams In the league during the regular season. I have no idea what happened last night. Maybe theyre just burned out. Hell I dunno. But since the playoffs have started they haven't been able to throw a penny in the ocean. Cant make Wide open jumpers. plain and simple.

They didn't look like they were working hard to get those wide open jumpers last night. They looked more hesitant than anything else, which coincides with your lack of dominant option point.

Well at least it took a lebron james led team in the eastern conference finals to expose us of all of our flaws. Its a miracle we made it this far. hawks have nobody to get easy points. And by easy I mean in the paint. Even their bigs are jump shooters. Gotta have somebody to be able to get easy baskets in the paint or someone who can play with their back to the basket(Lamarcus Aldridge) Millsap is just too small and has no post game to play alongside horford whose also undersized and expect to win a ring.

They overachieved already by just getting to this point. They could give a better effort out there in this series. I don't mind losing but losing cause of lack of hustle is inexcusable. Some of that falls on the coaches but they can't play the game.

With a team that only has a 58 mil dollar payroll ur not prepared to deal with any kind of injuries. Been downhill ever since the first thabo calf strain. Only way this team was gonna win it this season or even make it would be if they were all there and 100% healthly or close to it. Bud tried by resting all his guys down the stretch but it only seemed to backfire with the players losing their rhythm and everybody and I mean everybody getting banged up right before or in during the playoffs.

I'm still proud to have been a part of the best season in atlanta hawks history. It was a fun ride. Will never forget it. Will always cherish this group of ragtags who all outperformed their contracts and everyone's expectations. Even doing so ugly in the playoffs. Doesn't matter. Still got the first ecf in the 50 year franchise history.

And i only see good things to come with the way the roster is set up and the cap space and picks we have. This team is only gonna get better in my opinion.
