I've just seriously never paid attention to tags outside of the composition bro. Let alone think about the quality of the tag, thats funny. I'm going to be thinking about that now.

But yea, saw that picture on SF. The Charcoal Co-mix pretty dope. Been my go-to tee lately.

So, I walked into Barneys today to look around.

Ended up leaving with the Escobar sweat pants and Mercer tee in gray.

After getting the oversized hoodie last night. That's 3 items in 2 days. I'll stop before my wallet gives up. Lol.

Sweatpants are really nice. I had to size up. I usually wear a large. But they were nut huggers. The XL is more of the fit I like.

Yup and then they'll be mad when their $500 item falls apart after 2 wears.

It's too late in the game for them to be cutting corners. ANYWHERE. Especially with prices rising every season.

It's really not about the tag guys. It's about them cutting corners for no apparent reason. If tags weren't important a lot of these brands wouldn't take the time to design inside tags for their garments. Or use transparent care tags like wang (same price point)

Also find it funny the jeans are their most expensive yet and BASED off of a pair of raw selvedge jeans

And they aren't even selvedge

They only have one fit, The Cast 2 has a nice aggressive taper (no carrot leg effect) and the leg opening varies by size.

I buy most of my JE items off of Saks or Barneys because usually i can get a 10 to 20 percent coupon code at least. but is it just me but does the johnelliottco website have some of the slowest shipping ever. Its like a normal occurrence for people to wait a week or so for there items to ship.

Yeah, if you're not in CA/on the West coast it's bad. Routinely takes well over a week to get to me on the East coast. At least the shipping from JE is free now, but that's another reason I prefer to purchase their stuff from other retailers.

Yup. So slow. My order is still "unfulfilled". Only good thing is once they ship. I'll get it in a couple of days since I am in CA!

Of all the JE pieces I've worn, I've never gotten more complements than when I have on the grey pigtail strangely. There's something about it that flatters the body as well as long as you size correctly. Killer piece.

I caved and got a pair of the Raschel shorts, gotta check out this knit. Need a good pair of summer shorts and not waiting for the board shorts.

Haven't been in this thread in awhile, but whats the verdict on the flannels? 

Are they worth the price? Hows fit? I usually wear a Large in villain hoodies
