I hope they come out again! 

The 2012 were easily the worst retro of that shoe. When I saw they were all black it was a instant pass. 

Release em again with the two tone Durubuck/Nubuck Upper and ill be satisfied.

They released the way they are originally suppose to be minus the basketball laces. We got them all durabuck like they were intended to be and with age they would two tone. 2009 DMP's have everyone confused...
 
And also, I picked these up at FNL.com. No waiting page, no crashing, no cart jacking and no bots. Non of that bullish.

Bruh the OGs were not All black durubuck.

The closest retro was the 2002. The OG had black durubuck on the upper and black charcoal nubuck on the upper and toe. The dmps were much lighter than the OGs but the OG was not an all black durubuck upper like the 2012.

As pictured above, aging 2002 pairs are already starting to look more the 1992. When the 2012 ages they will look all one color.

The DMPs played around with a vintage look of the OG

How can a shoe with the whole upper being one material only age in certain parts of the shoe???????

I hate when people say the 2012s are true to the originals. Just like the Infrared 6's and Black Metallic Vs JB just released an all black upper with the whole upper being one material.

Bought these 2 weeks after release date along with the barkley godzilla's. Walked in and walked out.

People weren't really feeling these shoes back then. Probably because the purple and people were more homophobic back then..

In Virginia Beach and Norfolk, dudes were wearing these in the mall the same day they dropped. These sold out super quick where I was stationed at back in 07.

If they they can release the oreo 5's a year ago, then they can release the black/charcoal 7's for black Friday although they came out a couple years ago. The aqua's should wait until next year although I love them both.
 
The '07 drop wasnt a breeze around my way, woke up about 7a stood in line at a fnl, was 17th in line. Get to front ,got asked size told him 10.5, and he was like only got a 11.5,12 etc,etc. Nothing I could wear. So the hunt was on , I went to champs in that mall they didnt even get them. I start calling all over looking for my size ,1/2 up or down, nothing ,nothing ,nothing, like 10 calls later I finally got a hold of a ftl store with a size 10, went out copped em . Long & short, wore em 3-4 times ,flipped em on a trade. Wasnt feeling how they change the purple on midsoles from the og..
Regreted trading them , til now(fingers crossed they drop) but Im still hoping they do em right.
 
Aqua VIII on a Black Friday MASSIVE product run tip?...Best news I've heard from JB in a minute...

Add to that the fact that the midsole paint problem seems to have been taken care of, at least if the '13 VIII release are any indication, and it's a multiple pair purchase...
 
Sold my ds pair last year for 400... I knew these would be coming out again soon but thought in '16 so this is great! But bords and aquas in the same year! The only 2 pairs ive been contemplating paying resell for. I know that'07 aquas probably wouldn't hold up only reason I sold them in the first place

I remember I was in 7th grade when these released. I was usually always the first kid too get the new AJ's in my town/School
too have em. Funny thing about these when they released me and my best friend had been asked too play on a AAU team from

walked in carrying a Nike Air Jordan box. I was in ahhh but at the same time butt hurt because he had got the AJ VIII Aquas before me.
So after we got home I told my mom I want the new AJ and now. My mom was the type of mom who would do or get anything for her kids if
it were somewhat able too get us. So I cried for em all week and one day during that week she picked me up after school and we drove 
35 miles to our nearest mall and walked into FTL and I got my Aqua VIII's. I was so happy as if I were the first kid in town too get em.
After we walked out the mall  my Mom looked at me and said aren't you gonna say thank you? I said thanks Mom I love you, She said
you better thank me you little Chet I used our rent money too buy you these shoes, so that you could be happy and now possibly homeless lol.
So this is a shoe too me with a little history of sentimental value.
Sorry for the long boring story but I will just never forget that.

Might come for these.  My 2007 pair is still in decent condition, besides the usual paint chipping.  Chances are they're going to be $205 as a markup like the black Infrared 6 was last black Friday.

Easily my mistake for assuming OG's were all durabuck when they had nubuck as well but regardless the 2012's use some pretty good durabuck on the shoe and they are easy to clean. My only gripe is with the shape but even then 2012 > DMP's
 
Next year won't be the year of the 8s. Dunno what they got planned but it's gonna be a change up next year I think.

Have you heard that or is it speculation on your part? I hope they don't drop the year of theme as I am excited for the IX in 2017 haha.
