ironic part of it is, is that he's trolling and has been on a trolling spree for the past week. he doesn't like them either
 
Not go lie I do prefer the darker grey on the 07s and I'm usually all about everything being true to the OG. In this case however I wish they were like the 07 retro. Just one pair for me.

this shoe is so beautiful, the lighter grey really doesnt mean anything to me. this is literally my favorite jordan, followed by the ORIGINAL PAIR(not 2015 and damn sure not 2011) of bordeaux 7s.

I always hate these retro vs OG convos. Until I get some kind of confirmation that this years release is better ie more comfortable/more durable im gonna reserve my judgement. Although I'm still a fan of Jordans and what the man did for the sport of basket ball I don't hold the same reverence for the shoes that I used to. And if the bordeaux release taught me anything im not going to justify paying more for a shoe that isn't better than the previous release. The shade of grey is a nice touch and so is the insole but on feet the shoes still occupies the same space and as far as color blocking goes. I understand some people care about nostalgia and collecting and such and I used to as well but I don't trust the remastered angle at all.

people always complain about OG vs retro when majority of those people didnt even own the OG... i like the 07 because i just like the darker gray but i will be selling my pair and copping this retro when it releases... had the OGs as a kid so it would be cool to own them again

don't start that whole "never owned the OGs" bull. It doesn't matter if you had em back in the day or if you werent even alive, if you want what the folks had back in the day more than what the folks got a few years back than there's no issue. I wasn't born when the OG Star Wars came out but I like it more than the crappy prequel movies that came out when I was a kid and damn sure hope this new star wars will be as good as the original.

Whether someone owned the OGs or not is of no consequence to me really. It's just when people trash one over the other when there's no real indication of superiority besides slightly different color. To me, if I had to choose between the 2 versions, I'd go with the one that's better quality interns of materials and construction. Normally I'd fully expect these to be superior in terms of build, materials, and such when compared to the most recent retro but like I pointed out earlier the most recent bordeauxs to drop felt cheaper and flimsy and weren't an improvement on the 2011 version aside from some color change.

Everyones different. I like a few wave retros over OGs. 94s are my fav 1 mold, 99 is my fav 4s mold, 01 is my fav 3 mold. I appreciate them all. But I wont knock if someone disagrees or agrees with me.
 
People don't know the quality of these yet. Saying these aren't good quality because of the color prices that person has no idea how bad the 06 pair was. The paint chipped and the clips at the end of the straps broke after the 2 wear

I actually own the 07 pair, bought on release date, and I just recently got midsole cracking in the past 2-3 years. Easily over 150 wears and not a single clip broke off. Not saying that the 07 pair is better at all since we have no idea what they're going to end up like. My point originally was that im going to reserve my judgement until I have the shoes in hand. I'm gonna need more than a color change for the new ones to be considered better.

Yeah I was into VIII's when I first saw the 07 model on feet. So loving those and then seeing OG, that's why I almost passed on these with those early pics. But the recent pics look great.
