I've owned multiple 8s in 2007 along with many friends. Wore them a good deal, the midosle cracked in 2008 simultaneously and the clips broke off just as fast.

I have 2 pairs of 07 Aquas and 2 pairs of Playoff 8's from 07 as well. Both are in good condition, and the worn pair of Aqua's barely have any paint cracking, and I've worn them for years. The ONLY shoe I bought that I regret buying because of severe paint cracking issues in the last 10 years or so is the 2012 Bred IV's. That shoe was terrible.

Well regardless, good quality and 8s from 2008 are not synonymous. If the paint doesn't chip on the new pair and the clips don't have that cheap plastic crap from 07, then the 2015 pair is superior regardless of color differences from the 2007 pair.

Got the 07 midsole paint is chip , has been chipping off. To me these are tanks minus the chipping. Most comfortable Jordan I've worn. Can't wait till these drop...

Guess I got lucky, cause both my play offs and aquas are tanks. But I also don't play ball in my Retros so most of my Retros from 2003-2009 are still in great condition. But like I said I'm not gonna tolerate the bordeaux treatment on these.

they were called remastered but they were thin and flimsy and i had to return them. not gonna say they were worse than the 2011 but aside from the color change and price increase it wasnt a superior shoe. and definitely not better than jordan 7s with similar material make up that we have gotten in the past

Cant wait till these drop im taking a break till May when the bred 12s drop after these ill like the way my bank account looks with that hiatus from buying j's but im wondering should i leave this release up to just raffles at like 3 or 4 stores or reserve a pair at one with my connect that charges extra. Help me out guys is this gonna be one of those super hard to get and expensive releases?

It just depends on how much you want the shoe or what it means to you. As for myself this shoe from back in '93 has A sentimental history on me getting them back in '93.

Agreed. To be honest the 07s look the best, as the darker grey does the shoe more justice. However, I prefer the 2015 pair because it's closer to what my idol MJ wore and for nostalgic purposes.
