Aqua 8s Black Friday 2015

These are up on the FTL launch Locator, looks like most FTL and FA are doing raffles this monday and tuesday... Hope everyone gets a pair, im not a fan of 8s myself

To dodge the holiday rush I'd say. The week of release is a short week for most and to keep from having to contact people during a tight window or during a hectic holiday they just do it two weeks out.

It's the only sense I can make of it. They did this for the Black Infrared 6's and things worked out smooth.
 
I'm not doing any of those ticket line ups it's going to be worse than a FCFS. I will do raffles and online. Only raffles cause I'm on he clock while entering

I can see that. Wasn't planning on going to the mall this week but I guess I'll head there tomorrow.

This is exactly why.

Stores need to prep for the busiest shopping day of the year, and the shortened week doesn't make that task any easier for them.  

I remember people were caught by surprise last year and were upset that they missed the raffles for the Black Infrared 6s.  

Can't hurt to do your homework when it comes to releases, especially for sneakers you really want.
 
Imo the gray on the shoe is too light. I've seen em in person already & don't like em. They should've made them closer to the og's like the bordeaux 7's that released this yr. I will definitely be skipping. It won't be a difficult release though. They're releasing about everywhere lol

Walked up 5 minutes before Foot Locker opened.....was 2nd in line. These were a Easy cop in Dallas.
 
I called around all my local stores and they're all doing the raffles on 23/24 except for one that's doing it this week on monday.

You're thinking about the 07s
These 2015s are the closet to the original 93 aquas
 
"The grey is too light", "why does it have glitter?" :rolleyes If i didn't know any better I'd assume people think the 07s are the OG's.

Looks like these are a hit or miss.

You are correct I had my yr's swapped. Imo the 07's were better than the 93's, but that's just preference. Thanks for correcting me
 
Every time someone points of something they don't like on the 2015 release people always bring up the og lol do you think im just going to say Oh it was like that on the original I magically like it now

It's a remaster. It's intended to look identical to the OG so of course people are going to bring them up. That's the direct line of comparison.

most of the complainers suggest that the 2015 is hideous because they "added the new lighter grey and the glitter" but these details were in the OG and are not new at all. Most of those people think the 07 pair of the OG.

It's not the faulty of JB at all, it's on them for not knowing


Furthermore, people will pass on these because of some glitter but will buy the 11s with noticeably more glitter and shine

Let them go buy the 07s so they can crumble on them

Or they buy these and dye the grey darker

Me I'm going to get some tickets tomorrow
