Aqua 8s Black Friday 2015

I agree alot of the new school dont mess with 8s , but the Aqua 8s will be the exception for many,many ppl.

Something about hits of Purples on retro Js turns ppl out, i.e. blk/grape 5s, white grape 5s, flint 7s, aqua 8, bel air 5, concord 11.


3 others that are fresh ,but didnt necessarily fly off shelves is the raptor 7, womens aqua 8, and gs jordan 7 Grey / Blue / Purple / .

Hopefully the remastered build takes care of the paint cracking that plagued my 07 pair. I'll have to take pics if I can find them...
 
A lot of people I knew had these 8ish years ago, but not me. I had to stick with my first couple pairs of j's for quite a while. I always liked these, but couldn't bring myself to pay the prices I saw, so I'll probably pick these up.
 
I remember back in 07 finishline.Com had these on backorder for $88. I bought and resold for like $120 or something like that

This. Here in NY there was some hype behind em..but alot of people ended up getting the white aquas that released the same day i believe..still had to kinda camp out for my pair, i remember getting to the mall just before 4am and there were about 10-15 heads ahead of me . Not too much of a hassle back then but im pretty sure hype will be twice as much this go around. Def copping even if i have to feed the resellers
 
Pass for me. My 07s still in great shape, I barely wore them and sometimes forget I even have them. Yeah the paint cracked but I can fix that and didn't pay full price so I'm good. Good luck to all those that want them. Reminds me of a dude I talked to in flight club a couple of years ago, young dude was seriously thinking about dropping $500 on these

DONT SEE THE HYPE BEING OVER THE TOP BUT PPL WILL WANT EM… IM PASSING MY 07S ARE STILL GOOD. PROB ONE OF THE BEST VIII COLORWAYS
 
I just remembered that I got my 2007 orange blaze 8s in footlocker at Wheaton mall in Maryland in 2008 for $50. My my my, restocks have changed so much.

This adds to my earlier point about seeing the aqua 8s In the mall during December of 2007. Those "Sat".

Now everyone sees a shoe staying in stores for a fee days as " sitting" and finds it so hard to believe that the overhyped Aqua 8s and Toro 5s sat for weeks.

well damn I figured these would drop next year being that it would be "year of the 8" lol
I got the 07 pair that I only worn twice but with plenty of constant walking around so yeah my midsole paint got some cracking but not too bad
but I do gotta say they were put together pretty well of course with the exception of the midsole paint lol

anybody got experience with the recent playoff 8s and the white/reds and how their midsole paint is holding up?

I'm gonna have to wait n see how "remastered" it turns out before I decide to cop lol

This ^ I still might try for a pair just so I can use my 07 pair as beaters, because I really don't feel like repainting them when the time comes. But if I miss out *shrug*
 
I can't wait to cop this 2015 version. I still have my Aqua 8's from 2007 that are still in pretty good condition and I love them dearly!

as soon as I saw pics I knew to pass on that junk lol. they did them dirtyyy that was one of the worst releases ever imo. up there with the poor quality military blue 4s everyone complained about even though I've never owned a pair i'll take people's word for it.
 
Haven't owned a pair of Aquas since the OG, I've owned a couple pair of playoffs and bugs but passed on the last release..

Been waiting for Aquas to drop again to throw an 8 back in rotation. I'm ready.. :smokin
