Aqua 8s Black Friday 2015

Forgive my ignorance here y'all, but how did/does the raffle system work for these? I'm pretty new to the process. Are you entering at individual FTL locations? Online? It looks like there were stores doing raffles for these this week, but I don't see any solid instructions on how to enter. Any advice would be much appreciated.
 
Got a call from HOH in the Galleria in Houston. Won raffles for Aquas and Holograms

Hey man, stores usually do raffles on Monday and Tuesday of release week assuming a Saturday release. The aquas are a little weird because they come out Black Friday and everyone's off on thanksgiving so most did raffles this week instead of next. Call ahead and make sure they are doing a raffle, then show up and give them your name and number and size. They'll give you a ticket and they draw Thursday or Friday of that week. If you win they'll call you, if you don't they won't.
 
birch run outlet had GS pairs for sale already behind the counter, told me they had 2 pairs of men's but sold quickly

I had the OGs, and I've had my 2007 pair since 2010, and have been rocking them when nobody was thinking about 8s. 

Now with this upcoming release, it might be team to put this 8 colorway to sleep. Lots of people will have these, and they really wont feel unique to me anymore.

Im gonna try to haunt down a pair of 2013 Playoff 8s for a decent price. I dont really see alot of people in those. 

Im gonna let the new generation enjoy these.

Besides, the playoffs are an easier colorway to wear with more outfits.

You gotta understand. I've been wearing these HARD since 93, and 2010! These are my favs of all time not only because of the design, but becaus they have always been kinda lowkey in the Jordan world.

After rocking these for so long, I'm just ready to move into the Playoffs. New color way, more lowkey.

Crazy thing is, now that I've got a call from Footlocker, I'll probably still cop these just because I love them so much. Probably make these my beater shoes

I really don't want to to purchase these online and wait for it to ship to me. Should I risk it by going to a store and purchase it there?

Get what size you normally get in a Jordan retros. These fit like 6's (or most retros) to me. Or do what other people have suggested and go try on the 3-peats if you're that concerned about it.


*edit: great CW to get for your first pair of 8's, these are a classic shoe imo.
