Aqua 8s Black Friday 2015

I have 2 pairs on lock. 1 at FNL and 1 at FTL. I'm still recouping from a food coma but FNL is only giving me a 1 hour window from 7am-8am to pick up my pair WTF? [emoji]128545[/emoji]

That's because sometimes store employees are shady and sell your "guaranteed pair" and claim that it was an error in the system. And then perhaps you'll be given a 20% off a pair of shoe online that you can't get due to bots. I don't even take the chance and get it early. Usually a in and out in 10 mins for me. That's just me :/

Yup.  This happened to me last year on the Legend Blue 11s.

Got the call from a FNL branch, guy on the line confirmed that I won a size 9.5, asked if I wanted them (of course I said YES) and reminded me to bring the ticket and an ID with me when I come to pick up the sneakers.  We then had a short conversation about unclaimed pairs and how people line up at the store, and also how this particular FNL branch only got a small allocation of pairs.  I then asked him about the pick up window and then I told him, "Alright, thank for the call, I'll see you guys bright and early! Oh wait, what was your name again? ... Alright thanks again!"

Fast forward to release day.

I get to the store around 8:45am (pickup window 8-10am), show him my ticket, asked me what my name was, then he showed my ID to the manager who was working that morning.  Looked like the manager was already put-off by the worker.  The worker then tells me "aw man sorry, but I know we called you, but I thought you said you didn't want them."

Shocked, I told him, "dude, you were the one who I talked to, and I told you YES I wanted these kicks!" I even showed him the time he called on my 'received calls' log.

The worker (who was by now sweating bullets) went on to help the other people in line claiming their pairs, while I spoke to the manager and told her how upset and pissed I was about this whole situation, and how this sneaker corruption is ridiculous. 

The manager seemed sympathetic towards me, and was very helpful even while I was complaining about this whole situation.  She let me wait inside the store as they checked their stock, and she hooked me up with a size 10.  Maybe it was reserved for the idiot worker, or maybe it was going to be an unclaimed pair, I never asked.  But they let me buy it (WITH FNL rewards $20 off of course) right at 10am, so the manager technically let me be first in line for the unclaimed, even though the line started to form at 9am.

Even before this debacle, always keep in mind the time these workers call you, who you spoke to, and double confirm pickup window times and your size.  Helped in my case.
 
to the people saying TTS, you guys got narrow feet? widefooter here and I don't wanna have to try to return these because by the time they get here I won't be able to swap for another size

My Phoenix Sun 8s are an 11.5 and I can fit those alright.  I recommend going true to size or a half size up if you still growing or want the shoe roomy.

I agree the 2015s look more true to OG but 190 plus tax and having my 07 pair with minimal cracking, decided to pass with the money saved for the maroons next week.

I'm flat footed and got slightly wide feet and 8s are def TTS
