I just came back in this thread and happen to see his pic posted, and then I replied.

Wore mine for the past three days. A few things worth nothing

-no cracks yet
-for it to be a durabuck shoe, I don't have any creasing
-the straps don't stand straight up like the 07s. But they sit like they're supposed to. I had 93 air raids and the straps never stood straight up. I always thought 8s look stupid when the straps stuck way up in the air
