Aqua 8s Black Friday 2015

Also decided to double up on these. Quality is on point, no complaints over here. Great release, people are sleeping heavily.
 
Saw the UPS man when I left for campus this morning, can't wait till I'm back home so I can try on my aquas and look at them like I'm in love while I drool :nerd:

So you work at Foot Locker and have now bought 5 pairs of Jordans? Just seems ridiculous to complain about a hanging thread when that's the most minuscule of QC issues we've seen from this company in the past 5 years.
 
Just got to open up the box from Nike. I gotta say that for some 8's and being a GR I was impressed with the quality on my pair. The material on these is so soft compared to 6's from last year's Black Friday release.

These are pretty comfortable. I will say the one thing JB def got right in this remastering process is improving the comfort of the shoes. I haven't worn one pair that hasn't been comfortable.
 
thought i would like these better. i dont like the glitter on the midsole and the grey is too light for me. light grey looks weird on the eyelets. i would've doubled up if these were the 2007. these im not too fond of. the purple is a bit off to me.. or its just the leather. idk. defintely beaters for the winter. thats all theyre for.

thats the dumbest comparison ever. i wouldnt buy a brand new lexus with a scratch on it for full price, because the car is damaged. your 8s werent damaged.

the more accurate comparison would be....would we buy a brand new lexus with a smudge on the door, hood, wherever? hell yea, cause i can just wipe the smudge off. just like how u can just cut that tiny bit of loose thread.
 
I love my pair. The only thing is that the straps are pretty thin and flimsy. Previous releases used thicker material. That's consistent with thin leather used on other retros.

na, i used to, i still have my hand in the know. i have never had a hanging thread Except my CDP 11's.

everything else has been flawless....considering i had my pick of the litter at that time.
 
Went to my local mall and they still have these. Really soft nubucks and the quality looks nice, just couldn't convince myself to buy at $190 tho. If only it was the blk/red pair.
