Has anyone bought jordans through using paypal invoice?

I have a question regarding paypal invoice...

I was using craiglist to get some jordans and found out several heat ones

But the distance between the seller and me was quite far so i was wondering ...

I found out that paypal invoice seems work so i was wondering how to properly use

I would appreciate everyones help who has bought through paypal invoice
Alao i appreciate if you can teach me how to do it well without being scammed.

Thank you

Haven't bought through Invoice but have sold through invoice.

Hate ebay fees so I try to sell through invoice.

Haven't had too many problems but I have been lucky.

Hasnt failed me any.

If youre the buyer then make sure you ask for a really detailed invoice describing what youre getting. If something is missing have them edit it and include it.

If youre selling be sure to include everything possible that could make them wanna say what they got isnt what you described. Basically cover your *** because if there ever is an issue PayPal usually sides with the buyer.

But overall youre good using paypal invoice. You get auto updates on shipping if they print the label via paypal. If they go in store they just update it online or send you the tracking number themselves

Oh as mentioned above its better than using ebay and accruing fees. Even if you sell on ebay, what i do is tell the winner they pay thru paypal invoice (put that in the description). eBay charges sellers 10% plus paypal charges 4%.

Going directly thru PP invoice is strictly the 4%

Hope all that helps OP

So many different scams can be pulled thru paypal, the most common is unverified addreses.

To answer ur question, seller will send u a invoice stating the shoe, the condition, the price. Other notes such as "how soon theyll ship" , "all sales are final","courier service thatll be used", "if tracking # included", "100% Authentic " can also be added. U should request all those are included in invoice statement to serve as buyer protection. That way any issue that could potentially come about, if it doesnt coincide with invoice, will play in your favor, if whatever reason a dispute is needed to be filed.

Basically seller sends invoice, u send seller the money, provided youre satisfied with terms included within the invoice.

Thank you for info!

but what if seller just takes my money and doesn't send the item??

Thats the reason for the tracking #, make sure the seller provides signature confirmation thru the courier hes using, that way u have to sign for it when it arrives. Also that way seller cant say you got the shoes and deals done , when really u never did. Thats not to say he dont send u shoes that aint the actual pair u paid for, it does happen. But in the case he scams u , u then file a pay pal dispute and theyll refund your money and go after seller for their loss.

Now what u need to do right now,, is press that thumbs up button at bottom of my post, & dont be greedy , hit that thumb a few times for your boy..

awesome ! I learned alot from you!

so what I need to ask it describe the shoes as specific as possible and ask them to have signature confirmation and provide tracking number??

PayPal almost always sides with the buyer so you should be safe as long as the description matches what you want to buy. Make sure its very specific and includes terms like "100% authentic", the size of the shoe, the condition, flaws, and name of the shoe.

Use credit card to pay On paypal. Then you have double coverage. If paypal fails contact credit card.

paypal claims when buying through an invoice never fails. you are totally backed up. I have never had a problem getting my money back. if people arent willing to do a paypal invoice more often then not they arent legit.

The seller said hes going to wait until funds gets into his account and then hes gonna ship the item.
Is this usual process???

Yeah I usually get that from sellers. It's to make sure the buyers don't do a chargeback so PayPal can't remove the funds on his account. It takes a few days to transfer the funds from your PayPal account to your bank, so it's understandable . Don't worry if he doesn't ship it you can file a claim that he never shipped it

What I wonder is that what if the seller takes money and put money into his bank account and doesn't ship the shoes?

How then Paypal is gonna get my money back?

So should I just ask the seller to ship the shoes as soon as money gets into his paypal account, not his bank account?

It typically takes 2-3 business days for pay pal payment to clear into the bank.

Seller by waiting til payment clears banks , is doing whats in his/her best interest.

In the event he/she doesnt ship , u file a dispute thru paypal , and theyll get u ur money.

Patience young grass hopper, patience.

Sir you mentioned that one of the most common scam is unverified address.

How do you know whether my address is verified or not??

Thanks for your help

It should have a green text that says verified. You can find it on the invoice details or transactions details on your PayPal account

Guys im about to buy through paypal, but seller asks me to send money as gift

Incorrect.when you avoid paying the fees for PayPal you also get rid of all protection that they have. If you send as gift you may or may not get your money back. If you do decide to take the risk Though, make sure to buy via credit card, and file a chargeback if he scams you, and try calling PayPal and give them as much evidence as possible so they can refund you if something goes wrong

It's not correct. Needs to be an invoice. Even the legit guys i know on ig who prefer a gift payment will give an invoice for an extra 4%. Pretty much the pp fee.
