**Going to San Francisco For the first time today**

Ice Cream: Bi-Rite, Humphrey Slocombe, Mr. & Mrs. Miscellaneous, and Mitchell's Ice Cream.

If you're in SF, I'm sure you can find Off The Grid (Food Truck meet up) somewhere in SF.

no thread hijack but does anyone know of any dope rooftops or abandoned buildings for photography? I should maybe be there in 2 weeks.

OOoo, how its changed so much. I want to move out of the bay. Its totally different now. The people, the culture, I hate it :x

Is it bad that I dont want to give up my spots to out of towners?

PEACE!

Apparently Hunter's Point (no joke) has a really cool abandon warehouse out there.

This is from one of the photographers I follow but I have no real clue where it is.

OP i'm super jealous.

Been to SF 2x already and I gotta go for the 3peat one day. My favorite city in these united states.

Me personally:
Ocean Beach - was staying right there my 2nd time out there...great to wake up and just head to the beach...got a sandwich spot and some other place to eat right on Judah x Great Highway

Haight Street - Just walk it from Golden Gate Entrance to wherever you wanna stop...lots of cool spots like Amoeba Records, TRUE SF, Upper Playground, etc.

- Ike's Place - Sandwiches

- Carl's Jr. - I mean if you don't got one in your city....great for a fast food bite

- Union Square - High end shops

- Golden Gate Park - Science center, De Young, Zen Garden, and just overall really nice to walk through and around

- View from top floor of the St. Francis hotel

- Broadway - Strip clubs

- Coit tower - great view

- Twin Peaks - never been but def wanna do it for the view

- Golden Gate Bridge - need I say more....walk it from the beach or take a boat tour under it

- Palace of Fine Arts - on the verge of being a mystical place from another world

- Weed

Hope you have fun.

One of these days I'm gonna make it back there.

Unbelievable what happened. I've never been to the Seniore's on El Camino, I've always been going to the SF location on 19th. That was my go-to spot for pizza, especially after a night of drinking and trying to sober up.

Hello,

This is a cool thread  I was reading the replies but I`m trying to figure out something.

I`m going to SF in March and i`m interested in some tips regarding outlets ( hopefully with discounts for basketball clothing and shoes) and also some spots/boutiques where you could find some nice retro Js.

Thanks!

Bro though....I am no real native cause I am from the East Bay but the people that are here before all this mess need to show these transplants what's up. We have to keep living here whether it be from rent control or whatever to show we are the ones making this city pure in our own corny way. I hate how this city is turning too but I hate how people are just leaving without a fight.
The people that made SF so cool have been priced out and they brought over their coolness to Oakland. Hit up Oakland if you want to meet some cool peeps.

Even with all the tech bros and girls taking over SF, nothing will ever change the fact that it's a visually beautiful city. At least in America, I don't know of any other metropolitan city with a cool balance of natural beauty and industrial beauty.

No real outlest in SF. There is a Nike Clearance store in San Leandro and a Nike Outlet in Gilroy. But in SF, they don't really have much in that regard. We due have the boutiques. Someone mentioned most of those above.

This is sad news, but I'm a little relieved the Taraval street one wasn't the one that burned down.

Woah, did someone really recommend Carls Jr? Ive always assumed that was a nationwide chain. And the Seniores on Sunset has always been my go to. Feel bad for the ones that lost their jobs at the San Bruno location.

Muir woods
golden gate bridge
China town

I hiked from Muir woods to the ocean. Such a great hike :pimp:

I need a pizza connect

something besides the Seniore's in the city, wouldn't mind trying something else, preferably hood spots.

I'll be there this weekend.

Doing a road trip from seattle to SF in april. Beyond excited as i went there last year for the first time for Bay 2 Breakers. First thing i experiened was unknowingly walking through the tenderlion district i think. so that was my first impression :x but after exploring more (we walked most of the city in a day) I absolutley fell in love with the city and the entire Bay Area. wish I can move there. my 2 trips there were short but this time would be about a week so im hoping to explore more. Will be watching this thread. Also the Tiburon Wine festival was fun.
