Anyone ever just get nostalgia from collecting baseball cards or any cards in general?

I just got back into it, with MLB Showdown cards
Feeling real nerdy 2day

Might dive into Pokemon even

I buy a stray pack every once in a while.

Sometimes (maybe twice a year) I'll walk by the small cards section and grab a couple packs, but nothing extreme like them good 'ol days. Still have a huge treasure chest full that I can't wait to dig up and show my kids one day.

sometimes i just want to get the whole first generation of pokemon cards.

but then i remember that it would serve no real purpose and i prefer stacking that money for bigger projects.

I remember in jhs dudes used to covet that holographic Charizard..

Joint was like gold.

I remember this spot used to sell fake pokemon cards for $3 per pack in a clear ziploc
Had a fake holographic at the front. Used to dupe you when you realized that you could see straight through the card if you held it up to the light

I used to collect basketball and Marvel cards.

Still have a bunch in great condition in my mom's place in some old trapper keepers.

The LA Chinatown always had vendors that sold the fake Pokemon packs for a $1 a pack
They made a lot of money selling cardboard that is worthless
