"Potentially Historic" Blizzard To Hit NY Tonight Through Tuesday Night

Man forget this snow... I'm vex my punk *** barber close for the day.... Got me out here looking rough and tomorrow I got things to do [emoji]128545[/emoji][emoji]128545[/emoji][emoji]128545[/emoji][emoji]128545[/emoji][emoji]128545[/emoji][emoji]128545[/emoji][emoji]128545[/emoji]

 @ supermarket cartels

It's seem like yall were wishing for a disaster I don't get it
Nah it just doesn't make sense to give the city a curfew, shut down the trains and buses, make the NBA cancel 2 games last night (I aint get to see my boy Dame scorch the Nets or Cousins beast on my Knicks), interrupt every television program they could with bull **** weather reports and lame reporters out in the cold reporting nothing.

Didn't know supermarket cartels existed. I learn stuff from nt all the time.

So you rather them react after snow hits the ground? That doesn't make sense to me.

Would rather these weather guessers wouldn't hype **** up to the point that it forces the mayor/governor's hand.
Went from 2 feet up to 3 feet and the end result was less than a damn foot?
Buzz titles like "historic blizzard" and this is all we get?

Bet Friday will bring another potential blizzard that they try and forced down people's throats. :rolleyes

Anyone watching the live update? The sign language guy must be trolling

If that's the conclusion you got then let me make it clearer for you:

I'd rather them not overreact before snow hits the ground and properly gauge the weather on an appropriate timeline as it happens. That's what I basically said in the post you quoted just with details. Don't know how you got react after the fact though. Didn't even imply that.

I don't know where you're at but everyone in the tri-state area (whether they got a few ft or barely an inch) knows what I'm talking about as far as the hype and incessant media coverage this storm turned "blizzard got these past 2 days.

How could you react that way, though? You can't react as it happens in a city as densely populated as NYC.

Say they take that approach, and we actually do get hit with three feet of snow. How do you properly react to that without taking the proper precautions beforehand.

I'd rather they overreact and overcompensate than however they handled last years.

It's my opinion that the Governor and Mayor simply got scared in to those announcements and restrictions.

Last year wasn't that bad to me. It wasn't some debacle that shut down the city in the least. Some complaints but again they should be aiming for the right approach. Not overreacting and overcompensating for past mistakes.

To me if any snowstorms are on their way the Mayor should have the salt trucks on deck early. That should be the case every winter.

When I say timeline, it's simple. Just look the **** outside. Have the mayor get a guy to look outside at noon. Then look again at 6pm. If **** gets worse or shows absolutely no sign of stopping make ya announcement. Bring out the trucks, clear the roads. Allow for the trains to still be running. Have ya guy look outside at midnight and then 6am. **** aint hard and is very feasible if the boroughs are all being hit the same (obviously it'd be different for the islands).

Personally, when I weigh the chances off loss in an overreaction against an underreaction, I'll take the overreaction.

That's the thing. I don't accept that those are the only options.

It's like if I ask 2 ppl what's 1+100 and one person says 2 and the other says 2000. Nah b, I want something better than that if I can't get the right response.
