This is how you should live life, bruh.

Of you're not preparing for the worst you'll be let down a lot.

I totally get what you saying, but he has a point as well.  You can't go through every life situation preparing yourself for a negative outcome or worst case scenario outcome.  That would be a miserable existence.  Of course you're going to take your L's and have your rainy days, and you should be prepared for that, but it's unrealistic to expect the worst for all scenarios and unproductive to exert the energy/stress preparing for them.  Just gotta be realistic about certain things.  That's just me though.  To each their own.

That's exactly what I meant...

So many people are very insecure and/or not confident with themselves, and always hit me with "Ehhh... whatever, i'm just hoping for the best"

Hoping? Everything in life is hoping? They automatically assume the worst in life and never look at the positives.

"I'm 'Head over heels' for them"

Thats a perfectly natural position of your body

its when the heels are over the head is when things get interesting...

"Everything happens for a reason" is also one of the most annoying phrases ever. Its basically going against the notion of Free will.

I hate "if you love your job, you never have to work a day in your life". You still have to get yourself out of bed and go to work. I'd rather be sleeping then going to work.

"Rise and Grind" - You work a structured retail job. You don't put effort intro acquiring new customers. They were gonna be there regardless if you showed up or took the day off.

"Would you treat your mother like that?" - No. She raised me. You're just a random. I don't owe anything to you.
