Singers just going to take a break to make ruin 20,000 Leagues Under the Sea then he'd likely be back unless Apocalypse just completely bombs.

I'm not believing anything anybody ever says until filming starts. Michael Bay's been saying that nonsense with every TF movie too

Good point! lol

Nothing has changed about the costumes since the last time we've seen them.

It's just a different pic is all.

Yeooooooooooooooooooooo.

Watching Deadpool again and catching lines I missed the first time..

Collosus: 'Let us talk to the Professor'

Deadpool: 'McAvoy or Stewart? These timelines are so confusing'

The after credit scene for Deadpool being Ferris Bueller had me cracking up. I was dead when he did the "chica-chikka" at the end

On to Singer. As great as though new costumes look...it's still not enough. Dammit somebody just get Jim Lee to do these costumes...

Or maybe that's what Feige is waiting to do when those movie rights come back to marvel :nerd:

 those People Magazine Sexiest Man Alive covers were hilarious!

The opening to Deadpool is up there with AoU with greatest opening scene ever. I'm so happy for Ryan Reynolds.

There's a compromise to be had with the costumes. I don't care to or need  to see the original comics on the big screen simply because they don't always translate and can look awful (see Cap in A1)

On the other hand, we don't need every  character to have realistic black on black mercenary type uniforms. So throw in some color and nods to the original/comic uniforms, but keep it realistic enough for modern CBMs.

What is wolverine without his iconic yellow and brown/yellow and blue uniform though? Fox hasn't even tapped into the popularity of Wolverine yet simply because he's not in costume. It's essentially the equivalent of Superman walking around in films with a black t-shirt and red superman logo.

Apocalypse box office reception will truly tell us where the xmen film franchise is going. If Civil War wows the general audience this summer and infringes on Apocalypse's earnings than I fully expect Old Man Logan to be the end of Xmen under the Fox umbrella and them fully reverting back to Marvel.

But with the Xmen live action television series being greenlit which Marvel owns the rights to and Inhumans being dropped from the MCU future movie release schedule combined with Simon Kinberg and Deadpool producers wanting an MCU crossover...I'm inclined to think it's already happening :nerd:

^X-men live action series? What?

Is that what Marvel is going to do to get around the rights issue?

You mean to say marvel can do netflix shows of Wolverine, etc? :wow:

 No.

Yall dudes be getting yallselves hyped for no reason.

Marvel just has to give the okay on a tv show FOX wants to do. That's what they did for the Legion show on FX and the Hellfire Club show being made for FOX.

Marvel studios can't go and make their own X-Men show on netflix

Legion and The Hellfire Club shows. It's the deal Marvel and Fox made. Fox's side of the deal to Marvel isn't known

Just because Kinberg has stated to be open to the idea of crossovers doesn't mean it's going to happen

Also if there's any deal being made with FOX it's not for the X-Men but for the F4 like Feige tried to get done when the DD rights were expiring at FOX. That would make sense for the Inhumans being pushed back off the 2019 schedule and probably ending up being the first movie of Phase 4 in the summer. If the deal is done then that leaves room for a F4 movie then an Inhumans movie.

I'm expecting the announcement soon for a movie in Nov of 2019 being GotG 3 or Spidey 2

Kinberg is pretty much running the whole shebang in terms of Foz's comic properties. His clout shouldn't be overlooked. Add to that he's suppose to be writing Star Wars Ep: 8 and 9 with Lawrence Kasden and you have somebody who's already under the Disney umbrella :nerd:

Cracks me up knowing that Feige wasn't a Big DD reader growing up  I didn't get into DD until early 00's myself but Feige was ready to throw Matty to the wolves :smh:

Marvel def needs the F4 rights back as well so we can stop acting like the Guardians are cool :rolleyes. Which reminds me, I hate Bendis...

The only iconic thing about Wolverine's fit is the actual mask tbh and idk if that translates well to film. Like Cap's feathers.

If they were going to try his mask then his final movie would be a good time. Can't really think of any other comicbook hero that they've just conpletely taken the mask off of him except for hawkeye who had his whole costume changed and I think falcon.

I say, Wolverine finally wears the mask at the end of Apocalypse when everyone is decked out in their new gear.

By Wolverine 3, it'll be non-existent lol.

I don't even care for the mask in Apocalypse. I just want to see the weapon X helmet. In fact, I'll take seeing the helmet over seeing him in the mask at all

I also wouldn't mind if in Jackman's last film he went out with the cowboy hat
