That was Liefeld's dream choice.

I really can't see Hamm pulling Cable off. I don't think his range stretches to that area.

Oh did I not already say it doesn't look good as well? :lol:

She looks dumb in it but that's cuz I'm not all that happy with her being Psylocke.

The chick who played Lady Deathstrike in X2 would've been a better Psylocke.

I like olivia munn.

The way Jim lee drew psylock I always thought she wasy asian anyways. :lol:
I had no idea about her being british untill I was an adult.

Costume looks like a cheap swim suit modified into bad cosplay.

Nah I think some of the cosplayers costumes aren't bad neither is the movies. well I don't like that design or whatever that is on the chest.

I like her too. A lot actually. I just don't like her for this role.

I haven't been all that happy with a lot of the casting since First Class but they focused mainly on Magneto and Xavier and JLaw as Mystique drew everyone's disdain.

There's an issue with Psylocke if you aren't aware. She is British but then she body swapped with an Asian ninja lady. Jim Lee did draw her as Asian cuz her body is an Asian woman's :lol: So you weren't fooled. She looks that way on purpose.

Now Munn is half Asian and imo you can tell. Not the biggest problem but FOX could've cashed in with getting a straight up 100% Asian actress for the role. There was a whole bunch of them in The Wolverine and the chick that originally played her in X3 was too but I dunno maybe they're trying to avoid the whole lowkey controversy with Psylocke.

I'm sorry but if the movie ends up being half as cool as the promotional advertisement it's been doing, the movie will be decent, straight buffoonery and I'm loving it....biggest cinema troll in history.
 
I forgot all about Kelly Hu playing deathstrike in x2. Looked up who played psylocke in x3, she's mixed like munn is. Filipino born and half Chinese, half French. She looks good too.
 
I saw the Deadpool trailer for Ride Along 2 and the pg trailer made the film look damn near trash and uninteresting.
 
‘X-Men’ Spinoff ‘Hellfire Club’ May Premiere Early 2017;

At the Fox portion of the winter TCA, the network gave updates on several projects, including the X-Men spinoff TV series, Hellfire Club. When asked how soon the show could premiere, Fox CEO Dana Walden said it's possible but unlikely the show debuts this year.

"Unlikely it would be the fall. Potentially midseason but no immediate plans. We’re still working on Hellfire Club. Obviously those executive producers are very busy with the film franchise and the FX show, so not sure."

Hellfire Club will be a period drama, set in the 1960s. The series will be jointly produced by 20th Century Fox and Marvel Television. Serving as executive producers are Evan Katz, Manny Coto, Lauren Shuler Donner, Bryan Singer, Simon Kinberg, Jeph Loeb and Jim Chory. Patrick McKay and JD Payne are writing the script from a story first concieved by Katz and Coto.

The Hellfire Club superhero drama is one of two Marvel television projects at Fox. The network is also developing a TV series around Prof. X's estranged son, David Haller.

FX'S LEGION ANTICIPATED TO DEBUT IN 2016; SERIES NOT SET IN X-MEN FILM UNIVERSE

The X-Men-based TV series, Legion, likely will be coming to FX by the end of 2016.

FX President John Landgraf spoke to critics at the 2016 winter Television Critics Association press tour about the new 20th Century Fox/FX/Marvel collaboration, which Fargo's Noah Hawley is serving as showrunner on. Fargo actress Rachel Keller was recently cast in an unknown role on the series.

"We're quite well along. We've had a writing staff working. We've seen not only the pilot but several episodes and we're well in process of casting," he said. "I would anticipate that Legion would go on the air some time in 2016, this year."

Legion centers on the story of David Haller, the alleged son of Professor X who was previously diagnosed with Schizophrenia before realizing his supposed illness was actually something more. Landgraf said this potential series won't take place within the X-Men film universe.

"It's not in the continuity of those films in the sense the current X-Men films take place in a universe in which everybody on planet Earth is aware of the existence of mutants," he said. "The series Legion takes place in a parallel universe, if you will, in which the US government is in the early days of being aware that something called mutants exist but the public is not. I wouldn't foresee characters moving back and forth because they really are parallel universes."

"X-MEN" SPINOFF EPS EXIT TO JOIN "24: LEGACY"

Changes are ahead for the X-Men-inspired, in-development Fox series "Hellfire." Showrunners and co-creators Evan Katz & Manny Coto have exited the project to work on another franchise Fox series, the recently announced "24: Legacy," as reported Friday by THR. Additionally, writers Patrick McKay and John D. Payne, who developed the series with Katz and Coto and were slated to script the pilot, have also left the show.

Despite the shifts, THR's report states "Hellfire" is still a priority for Fox, saying the network wants to get it "completely right." The show is not likely to go to pilot this season.

"Hellfire" is based on the Hellfire Club, a villainous group created by Chris Claremont and John Byrne during their legendary X-Men run, and first introduced in 1980's "Uncanny X-Men" #129. According to the official description, the show stars "a young special agent who learns that a power-hungry woman with extraordinary abilities is working with a clandestine society of millionaires -- known as 'The Hellfire Club' -- to take over the world."

If "Hellfire" makes it to series and "Gotham" remains on Fox, it'll make the network the only channel to have both Marvel and DC Comics-based live-action shows, as THR notes. "24: Legacy," Katz and Coto's new project, is a successor to the hit Fox series that ran from 2001 to 2010 (with a follow-up series in 2014) and has a pilot order at Fox. It will feature an entirely new cast.
