I already knew R.R. Bae could

dudes was in here haiting on him saying he has no range a month ago though...

Never forget

Reynolds been the most hated actor on NT for a minute, dudes better stay off the bandwagon...I remember defending him a couple of times in this thread.

Just watched Selfless. It just hit me.

Ryan Reynolds can act
embarassed.gif
He had to act like he liked Scarlett for her personality for a few years. That's acting for you.
Any particular reason why? Does she have a bad rep?

"This timeline is leading up to the New Future seen at the end of Days of Future - - Past"

So its safe to assume anybody not seen in that ending isnt honna make it

I guess nightcrawler aint gonna teleport his way to the sequel lol

I at least like how they said that certain characters that survive in the old movies don't make it and certain characters that don't make it survive.

I'm really not tripping about the happy ending in DOFP because it really doesn't give anything away besides the fact that Xavier's school is open and full of mutants, which is basically X-Men status quo.

If they were smart they would've just did a normal reboot instead of trying to explain everything.

Yup.. Should have cut singer from the jump.. Start fresh with the real first class and you can set up a mega empire..

Have the big bads planned out.. Then you build to the major events

Seems pretty simple, but fox/singer :smh:

Just like first class, magneto is showed as a friend in the first film.. While transitioning to a foe as things are established in that world with the fear from the government and all that..

So magneto would be a constant throughout.. Ditto the government, with sentinels being hinted at the end of the first film and full blown in the 2nd film

Then because you focus heavily on original team, you can hint towards the whole Phoenix saga with Jean early.. So you build to the overall events throughout with little nuggets

You have movies for each of these guys (not necessarily in this order): apocalyse, sinister, juggernaut, proper movie with magneto as the bad guy (since he would be with Xavier most of the first film).. Could possible do onslaught.. The you have the event movies.. And the villain team movies

Lol it seems pretty straight forward to me.

First Class and the 70s portion of DOFP happened, every other previous X-Men movie did not

I'm pretty sure the only reason they didn't wanna do a full reboot is cause Hugh Jackman has been a cash cow for the X-Men franchise since X1 and they just didn't wanna go thru the burden of finding someone new to fill his shoes. and I believe the next Wolverine flick is gonna be Hugh's last one, so unless they somehow convince him to stick around, they're gonna have to start searching for their new guy soon and at that point they might as well reboot the franchise.

Reynolds is a slightly above average actor. Nothing more, nothing less.

That somebody just now saw a movie in 2016 that made them think he's a good actor just goes to show how many bad movies and bad/average performances he's given to not make ppl think highly of him.

 @ bandwagon. Yall dudes just happen to really like dude. That's okay but son is not about to strike some acting renaissance and suddenly be praised. He is what he is.

Nobody saying he's an Oscar worthy performer, but you guys are exaggerating talmbout all these bad performances, please name them...blade and GL?

he played his character in Blade, i wouldn't say that was a bad acting job.

What does Above Average even meaN???? compared to what???

Nobody said you guys were calling him Oscar worthy  That would've been a real joke.

Look at his entire filmography, it's filled with mediocre crap.

We've been over this. I aint wasting my time again.

Compared to average. Hence, "above average"

If you don't have a standard for average acting though then I can see how you're lost.

I've only ever complained about how he played similar annoying smartasses in blade, deadpool in one of the wolverine movies, and green lantern. I'm not a fan of sarcastic, wise-cracking characters or people in real life. His jokes in those movies made me cringe.

how many levels do you have for people

Above average is an awesome actor imo..

how about this just leave RR bae alone

Not a lot I think at least for praising somebody. There's good, then great, and then excellent/genius/amazing (meaning these are interchangeable). Then there's sometimes a rare few you put in that untouchable category.

Above average is definitely not awesome to me  For me that's a just okay actor. I might also use the word solid to describe them. Cuz for me an average actor is just passable in a role. They're not horrible but they don't bring anything to it worth mentioning even if they're the main character.

Keep in mind I called him "slightly above average" cuz honestly there's maybe a handful of movies I've seen with Reynolds in it where I left thinking he was really good. The rest left me like meh and thinking oh he's that type of actor and I've weirdly enough managed to see a good deal of movies with Reynolds in it. If anything he picks movies you can definitely have playing on in the background.

Then if you're below average you get all the words for trash and terrible that comes to mind.

Hey yall dude continually keep bringing up Reynolds acting prowess as if it's something to boast about and then feel some type of way when realistic responses get posted. How about yall just move on from that. Pretty clear aint nobody convincing the other of anything else.

Kinda sounds like you are describing the average actor.

So if above average is 'just ok' to you, then what's average?
