I'm glad they are actually wearing lighter/bright colors. Think they finally learned that every X-Men film doesn't have to be so dark costume wise.

He acting like Gambit's "origin" story is that important to begin with. Orphan adopted by a thief becomes a thief himself joins guild of thieves. Oh and connections to Mr. Sinister. The rest is murky and still to this day unrevealed.

Sounds more like Singer never asked for Gambit to be involved in the script. If he is, at best it's a cameo or mid/post credit scene.

The way things are going with Jackman having his last movie as Wolverine, I guess FOX think they can pawn off Gambit on to the audience and milk him as sort of the new Wolverine for a while while they get their **** together.

That fold away cover from X-Men #1 got me hooked to comics. To this day, I think Jim Lee is one the best comic book artists ever.
 
Wow where do I start with this new xmen movie....

Firstly a solo gambit film can work wonders...connection to mr. Sinister, marauders, new sun, omega level, assassins guild, belladonna, rogue, externals,storm, etc. gambit has a lot of rich connections throughout the MU. For his movie though, he's def gonna need some cameos of signicant players to make the movi Pop. I'm thinking a director that's a mix of Michael Mann/ del toro for his movie.

Secondly, like another poster said above...Olivia munn def has the look of psylocke down to a tee. Acting though might be a miss. I have high hopes though.

Young Kurt in that thriller jacket is a nice homage to his OG Excalibur outfit. Hope they make a nice joke about it in the movie.

I was really hoping gambit would be in this one but I'm hoping he's at least a teaser towards the end.

All in all, this next movie is THE right step after DOFP. What this hopefully alludes to or represents is the potential Age of Apolypse storyline that happens as a result of canceling the DOFP timeline.

And most hopefully my boy Nathaniel DaySpring makes that entrance and he gets his own NEEDED movie one day.
 
Xmen cartoon for season 1-3 or 4 was TOO real.

First episode someone ******* dies (well not really but that's how they made it out to be until the reveal). Magneto and X in the savage land working together? Sex. Phoenix saga Friday night special with power rangers. Butt. Sex. Every ******* mutant showing up at some point. Sex. Cable series. Sex.
 
Didn't even know Gambit was connected to Mr. Sinister.

I liked when the cartoon showed them just hanging out at the mansion. Playing basketball and other random ish. Plus it's also the source of the Wolverine carressing the picture frame scene.

The Japanese opening for the Xmen animated series were too dope. And nothing like what the show actually was

Yeah. While I loved those shows for what they were, Xmen, Spider-Man etc. all those early 90's animated comic shows had garbage animation and the directiors had no idea how to do action and had bad pacing Like that anime opening made Even Jubilee interesting

Xmen anime was trash

Children of the atom was the xmen game that changed my life (thank you capcom)

I think with this film being singer's swan song we'll get.....jim Lee inspired costumes
 
If only they would make an X-Men CGI movie like they did with Final Fantasy.  The potential would be endless.

Hell they could make the CGI like Marvel Ultimate Alliance cut scenes

A man can dream though....sigh
