The first X-Men film was good for 2000 when there were really no measurements/standards on how to make a good comic book film.
it's my strong belief that the first 2 xmen movies are only thought of to be good by certain people literally because we didn't have much else at that point..

like the first transformers.. you had beloved characters that we wanted so badly to see on screen, that we were ecstatic to get anything

joel Schumacher's crap movies were huge for the opinion/success of those xmen movies

blade movies (first blade was '98 with the 2nd in '02) and hellboy movies were far better movies and they were around the same time, also first spiderman too.. tim burton's batman movies are better

raimi movies don't really age that well, unless you're a huge fan of his.. but those movies were still better than those xmen movies.. just not as great as we remember em

Up to 63 reviews, still at 95% :pimp:

When the Blu Ray comes out, they can join the BvS Rotten Tomatoes Shade Squad like Civil War

Still at 95 percent after 65 reviews?

Will still not give them my money. But if anyone gots the hook up, hit dat pm bruhs :nerd:

Nah, use your googles bruh.

I pray it's for the story and action, and not because it's Hugh's last go round. I wonder if people would turn on Hugh if he pulls a "I'm not done with the role yet" switcharoo.

I think he's pretty much been there next to Singer on the directors tenure.

His style of filming might be different so I am curious to see how that goes but I could see him being pretty much Singer 2.0.

He also had a hand in Fan4stic so...

He's worked with a lot of good directors, Singer might be his most frequent collaborator due to the X-Films but that's not really saying much. I don't really see him sharing the same weird *** sensibilities as Singer

linking him so directly to Singer is unfair imo, he's a trusted dude in his own right. He was one of the first people Lucusfilm brought in when Disney acquired them

To be fair and counter, Kinberg has written and produced a lot of trash movies.

He's also written and/or produced a good deal of movies I've liked. Focusing on writing cuz I feel that leads to the full picture of the movie more than producing:

He wrote or co-wrote X-Men Last Stand  , Fan4stic :x , Apocalypse :smh: , DofP :rolleyes :x  , and xXx: State of the Union

On the other hand he wrote Jumper (a personal favorite) and the best movie on his resume imo Sherlock Holmes :smokin There are other movies he's written but I either didn't see them or they're comedies.

He's far from a stellar writer.

He's never directed anything. It's hard for me to be completely open to it but if it goes down we shall see. Especially if it's a movie about the Phoenix after he wrote Last Stand.

man it sucks they set up a sequel to jumper and it never really gained ground, wonder if they would've gone the book route for the sequel

:x
It was a fun romp man. If it's on tv in catching a few scenes of not keeping it on in the background. Same with Next and Push but let me not go back in to my fan fiction with those movies.

Its no praiseworthy marvel of a film but it's a popcorn flick I enjoy.

I can get ppl totally disliking it though. Its nothing special but it captured the whole I have telportation powers, here's what most ppl would do with it, and nice some world expanding.
Jumper was TRASH!

I can't believe the biggest critics in here think Jumper was a good movie
I didn't say it was a good movie.

I said it was a personal favorite.

Plenty of y'all have movies that aint all that good or pretty by the book that you still personally like.

Nic Cages Next? I like the whole concept of clairvoyance, I like the concept of Jump too, would be awesome if they can create a world with those power along with Push.

And I'm always good to seeing Biel, Bilson and Belle on the big screen, keep Cage and Evans too but get rid of Hayden.
