Meh I've been aware for a while now that tdogg's opinions are just different from everyone else's. I mean he has both IH and Cap1 as part of his top 5 marvel movies. So I don't even try to start no arguments with him. Doesn't stop him from complaining whenever I post my opinions though

Right now he's pretty much chiming in whenever anyone posts negative opinions.

There's been many a time you've posted an opinion I disagree with but I've kept my mouth shut. But it's not going to stop me from being quiet about my own opinions.

Even saw wolverine origins

Thank god they showed that butchered silver samurai in the trailer for the wolverine.. Can't remember why I'd didn't see Elektra



Funny enough I had the very same opinion, until I started seeing trailers for jack the giant slayer.. I even gave it a shot for about 20 mins on HBO

Then there were transformers movies and the recent TNMT movies.. Watched couple mins of the most recent for the two, again got maybe 30 collectively on both, on cable

Mystique is 100 years old has never aged in the comics, ever. And Mcavoy and Fassbender do such justice to the characters that I give no *****.

Magneto in the comics is physically in his prime despite being a Holocaust survivor because his age has been tampered with anyway. I believe the same is true of Professor X.

How are you not doing that...but then say its lower quality blah blah. Its not lower quality to some people. Its your opinion its lower quality because you didnt get the story/scenario you wanted. Some people legit liked this. Everyone has an opinion. I liked TWS probably one of the only movies made adter 2010 that im like 10/10 love it. The rest have not compared. Thats my opinion though. Then there are people who like thor 1&2. Which is a 1/10 for me. But still not going as hard on it as people do fox

I didn't say "lower quality". These movies range from awful to mediocre to barely decent. They're awful because the story isn't good enough not because I didn't get some specific story I wanted. There are tons of X stories to be told. I'm not pining for a Kraoka movie or some ****.

Honestly I don't give a **** about Thor but lol did **** on that movie. Thor ain't the same thing as the X-Men to me so like you said different ppl will feel differently about these movies. No need to be stuck on my opinion about it. A whole bunch of yall talk about what you liked can go ahead and keep doing that.

But I ain't buying it when comes to how low yall have set the bar and then tell me it's not.

Just read your own reviews. A whole lot of:

"It wasn't that bad."
"It could've been better."
"I can see why many didn't like this."

Its just yall adding in some "I still enjoyed it 8/10." :x

So when I say you've lowered your standards or turned off your brains it's not me wanting you to hate it. That's my opinion of your review. I don't want you to hate the movie cuz I don't even want to hate the movies.

I love the X-Men and want the movies to be great but they're not and truth be told in 16 years, they never have been.

Once again. You establish a universe. I'm fine with that. I'll accept that universe and the rules in it.

Don't bend and break the rules, leaving horrid inconsistencies.

Yea i had to let the movie settle in my head watch some scenes again.. (which i do with most movies) .
6 x films X2 and apoc are the 2 in like... yea i like this.

the costumes are fine, nothing to write home about but no reason to be upset at them

apocalypse was a decent one off cheesy comic book villain

the trilogy has always been about magneto and prof x, it makes sense that their story gets more screen time than the kids, plus more magneto is always better

mystique being the leader was a great character arc for her, I liked her character in this movie more than the previous two

Yeah I could understand if the characters had the same personalities but First Class Xavier was downing kegs and using his powers for yambs, DoFP Xavier is a jaded and depressed drug addict and Apocalypse Xavier is cautiously optimistic and running a school full of unstable children.

The character arcs are clear as day so complaining about the lack of age make-up is just dumb and nitpicky IMO


X and Magneto have been recast. Patrick and Ian have been replaced by just as competent actors who have done the characters great justice and taken them in a different direction than the OG trilogy to my, and many other people's great satisfaction. It ain't that serious.

'nitpicky' gets thrown around way too much to excuse some flat out dumb or lazy things
