I'm sorry for you non 6 footers. Your lives are practically meaningless in a way. Truly a shame.

I thought vin diesel stood on boxes so he wouldn't look like a ****** next to the rock.

I never liked efron. Dude wore more makeup than his female co-stars in his early stuff. Weird boy.

soooooooooo Liev coming back or not cause honestly one of the best things in Origin was his portrayal of Victor

Liev's career is going well right now. Not sure he does it but if the check is right I can see him coming back.

Plus it'd make more sense if the movie is more like Old Man logan as rumored.

Bringing in the other guy who played Sabertooth would be laughable.

Fantasitc four could have been an awesome movie, and people still woulda found something to complain about just because its fox and not marvel......

I dont even know what super hero I would give Efron or villian???

honestly....id probably put him in DC as Green lantern or a flash.

but I dont really see him as any Marvel character honestly.

I think Efrom would make a good enough Nova.

There were some dumb rumors last year that he'd be the next Iron Man.

Oh wow, that piece written by whoever that read Slater's script already sounds better but Kinberg (who I also always thought had **** vision, just look at the X-Men movies he's helmed) already did a rewrite.

So I can't think of the really great F4 movie Trank said he made that nobody will ever see is Slater's version since that script never got filmed.

The Doom stuff is already 5x better and makes more sense than anything that was in the movie as far as motives go but him being a dark matter being? That's some Michael Korvac/Dr. Manhattan/cosmic entity ****. The being a herald is going a bit too far as well as the reveal and the use of a "Doombot".

It's a bit too much for one movie when you account for the Mole Man stuff brewing as a subplot. A bit too ambitious but it's good for a first draft and on paper this story is immensely better than what we got. The ending leaves a lot to be desired but eh dude was aiming big.

The Ben army stuff makes all the sense given this modern setting adapting this comic origin. No Dr. Storm and bringing in Johnny last min to help doesn't make sense though. That sort of sell only makes sense if this F4 is much older at least late 20s (and yeah the actors are that age but in the movie they're all suppose to be early 20s. Still don't like everybody not making the trip to the Negative Zone, especially since this version is an even more closer adaption of the Ultimate F4 origin.

As far as the stuff at the end about Kinberg's script well we didn't get that either with the movie. It was not big and brash action. It was definitely not Stan and Jack so it seems his ideas got scrapped.

If it's one thing to be taken from that is Fox really wanted to make this movie with the least money possible and that was a huge reason why it sucked.

Not true at all.

Ppl were okay with the first X-Men and really liked X2.

Plenty dudes in here raved about First Class and then doubled down on DofP, some claiming it was the best cbm of that year.

This isn't a cuz it's not Marvel thing or it's just cuz it's Fox. It's a this sucks thing. Simple and plain. No need to make excuses or make this an agenda/bias playing favorites thing. It sucked.

So if Fox had ponied up the money and made the movie described in the think there'd be much more positive reviews and the movie would've definitely made a profit. There'd still be some complaints but that's the norm for every movie let alone comic book movie. Nobody has made one where everyone loves everything about it.

I can see him being Tony Stark in another 8 years or so. he'll be 35 i dont see why not...

Nah, Efron as Stark is a no go for me. It's not just his age that is holding him back, it's the overall package. Just can't see it.

if people are accepting Channing tatum as a serious actor in any capacity... than Efron should be way above him

Not buying Efron much at all either. Especially as Stark.

Unlike Efron, Tatum was actually good in a serious role even though it didn't require a whole lot.

Well outside of comedy, Tatum is still getting hate. I mean look at the Gambit casting and how he was going to back out and all the hate came out.

Plus Tatum hasn't really been heralded as much, seems like very few here recognize his performance in Foxcatcher. And to be honest, Efron hasn't even had a role like that. As I said before, Teller and MBJ ha spretty much surpassed Efron and now dude is doing comedies like Neighbor sequel and Baywatch.

Efron can act and has the look but it's different to be RDJ 2.0 and anything less is a disappointment. I'd have to see Efron pull off a likable, smug, douche.

And that's coming from a dude who actually likes the guy.

again he still has minimum 6 years (8 ) before they ever do a iron man remake or solo movie with a new dude

And again it isn't his age that is bearing him down, I actually think he can act unlike most here but it takes a special talent to be Tony Stark. I'd laugh my a** off too if someone said Tatum would be the next Stark. It just isn't that simple.

Not many can pull off RDJ and any less RDJ Stark is less of a Tony Stark.

Age has nothing to do with it.

It's acting ability. He isn't that talented.

Son needs to focus on his drug problems anyway.

I don't agree.. I think if you make a good movie, it will get credit as that..

People didn't complain about the raimi spiderman films until the crap that was spiderman 3.. And raimi had issues with the studio

I agree that mine and a lot of people's expectations are high with xmen.. There is a reason those were the properties that got sold off to save the company.. I just think singer is the wrong person to head that whole process

Nothing on his resume gives me faith.. And fox doesn't seem to have a plan for all of these things
