20th Century Fox Reportedly Eyeing JOHN WICK Co-Director David Leitch For DEADPOOL 2

Deadpool 2 may have lost Tim Miller about a week ago, but according to a new report from Mashable, 20th Century Fox may already be closing in on John Wick co-director David Leitch to helm the hotly anticipated sequel, which will once again star Ryan Reynolds in the title role.

Leitch is best known for his storied work as a stunt coordinator and performer, where he coincidentally has a long history with Fox, having worked on stunts for several of their high-concept action films, including Blade, Fight Club, Daredevil, and X-Men Origins: Wolverine - a project he also worked on with Reynolds. His stunt resume also includes work on The Matrix Revolutions, Van Helsing, and The Bourne Ultimatum. Leitch recently made the shift up to second unit director and has already worked on major blockbusers like The Wolverine, Jurassic World, and Captain America: Civil War.

As a director, Leitch co-directed the critically acclaimed John Wick with Chad Stahelski and also recently completed the Charlize Theron spy thriller The Coldest City, which is due out summer 2017. His upcoming projects include the Chris Pratt-starrer Cowboy Ninja Viking and Sony's film adaptation of Bloodshot, although the report notes that both of those projects are still a ways away.

Anyways, I really hope fox and co figures this all out..

Same goes for any other marvel properties they own.. I just want these movies to be good.. thought deadpool was finally one they figured out

Now I got it in the wait and see group like every other fox marvel property

Got faith in Kingsman 2 though

Who is talking about the movie doing #s other than you? If I'm being real here **** that.

Y'all silly dudes ain't reading. Like I give a **** if FOX makes bank

I just want the movie to be good. Recent events is not a sign pointing in that direction

***** wheredid you see I was talking to you.
Your first post in here was let's be real the sequel is going to make money.

Who were you talking to then?

You the only one that really give as a **** about that ****.

You silly *** dudes think cause you write essays in every thread someone must be talking to you.
This don't make sense.

You don't need to be talking to me for me to address you. I just did. Saying I wasn't talking to you like you was in a private conversation don't mean a damn thing

I responded to the boy responding where he said nothing was guaranteed i.e. Everything in my post including box office, go soft about somewhere else like now cause IM responding to you.
Well then let me say it all that bull **** you went on about in that most isn't guaranteed.

Funny style cats stay thinking they on the phone talking to a friend or some ****. You on the internet b, ABG all day. Stop talking like you got violated or get use to it.
Who was the other co-director on John Wick?

Until I saw that news earlier it never even came to mind to think about who directed John Wick

I am not sure if this was reported a couple of weeks ago but some Domino casting news...

Thanks to Collider we now know 6 actresses that might be in contention for the role of Domino. According to the site, Lizzy Caplan (Masters of Sex), Mary Elizabeth Winstead (10 Cloverfield Lane), Sienna Miller (American Sniper), Sofia Boutella (Star Trek Beyond), Stephanie Sigman (Spectre), and Sylvia Hoeks (Overspel) will test or have already tested for the part.

Ruby Rose (Orange is the New Black, John Wick 2), Mackenzie Davis (Halt and Catch Fire), Eve Hewson (The Knick), and Kelly Rohrbach (Baywatch) are also in contention.

I could get behind Kelly Rohrbach as Domino or any role really >D

lizzy caplan clear no. 1

then Mackenzie davis or sofia boutella (who they really should have used kingsman in brackets, had to look up who the hell she was)

No to Mackenzie and Mary.

Lizzy is great not sure that she really works. Same for Eve, love her and would like her to get a break like that but haven't seen enough of her range.

Sienna Miller would be cool. I could see it with Ruby but again acting. Sofia could do it for sure.

Rewatched X-Men Apocalypse last night for the first time since the theatrical release.

I gotta say man...I enjoyed it much more the second time around.

Things that I just couldn't get over:
  • Apocalypse's look
  • The Phoenix story line being randomly pushed out at the end. I get it, but I can't imagine how just a casual fan feels watching that...like "yo. WTF just happened"
    laugh.gif
  • I liked the hero image of Mystique they tried to play, but I'm kinda over Mystique and ready for that chapter to be closed.
Things I really liked:
  • The new team. My goodness, seeing Cyclops in his uniform
    eek.gif

  • The scene where the new team goes to the mall. Clearly a nod to the X-Men Cartoons.
  • The feels for Magneto when his fam gets kilt :frown:
  • The mind battle between Professor X and Apocalypse
    eek.gif
  • Wolverine
    pimp.gif
  • Stryker. Kinda hate seeing them keep going back to this, but something about the actor that plays William Stryker just screams ******* to me

There are many more, but I don't want to go too deep into it...Easily a 3.75/5 for me.

Have to say, I am so officially ****** done with timelines. Said it before, but this just cements it.

Don't care for the Johnny Cash music but I like how the movie seems to be smaller than any of the other films. That's what has my interest
