I honestly don't recall long *** posts of hate for Apocalypse (other than initial review posts. It was ****, we mostly all agreed, box office hinted at that, it had diminishing returns, nobody really had a strong argument for why it wasn't ****.

There was A LOT of complaining though. Specifically yall complaining that the thread was filled with ppl posting about not liking the movie when there were barely ppl posting about liking it. There were more ppl with the it's not good not bad opinion than ppl who liked it. Got the sense even those ppl wanted to move on but there wasn't anything to move on to except super early Old Man Logan news.

We all moved on. I forgot about it more than anything. That BvS lingered with how bad it is.

Fox has managed to create a sense of apathy about the X-Men for me. Started back in DofP when I realized they wouldn't get right and they wouldn't ditch Singer.

As time passes I realize he's in more **** movies than good.

I liked Deadpool.

There is no preconceived Fox hatred. Just lousy Fox Marvel movies expectations.

Apocalypse was trash and most here looked at it like that. Lets not forget now. Apocalypse looked and was a horrible character. Bruh brushed up on his current events by pressing him palm to the tv. Like cmon now. Don't act like that **** didn't happen.
 
That movie was below basic. I watched a bootleg copy my brother gave me and I still wanted my money back somehow.
 
Movie was just the definition of Meh. Cookie cutter plot literally.

I can't take another Magento is evil and sees the light in the final act plot again

Instead of butchering days of future past.. hell instead of being overly eager to reach for that limb

The natural next step after first class was for their to be a real deal magneto as the big bad guy movie with fassbender.. then you really starting forming the team with beast.. show them traveling the world and encountering all the issues the world has with mutants and all that and you have links to other bad guys to come
 
Let's assume we get a Wolverine reboot, what actor besides Hardy would you guys want? Also, which story arc?


Would love to see Omega Red and Lady Deathstrike in those films.

Hopefully they reboot the whole team and do it properly.. which means no wolverine til the 3rd or 4th actual xmen movie

That depends if a reboot would entail starting with the origin of the X-Men which I highly doubt. Nobody coming to see a movie just about the O5 and Magneto. At least not in high #s.

Maybe the Ultimate X-Men original team. Maybe :lol:

I didn't mind the first X movie having the team and school already well established. Same with the team not being public. Given the topical issues makes sense Xavier kept them a secret as long as possible cuz again, it works well for the metaphor.

AOA is the first of Singer's X-films that I didn't like. From the mansion scene on just fell flat for me. I need to give it another watch soon though.

Natural place to go with any solo Wolverine film is to properly do the Weapon X storyline, in my opinion.
