So, should I unfollow Umberto? lol Crazy

I remember El Mayimbe talkin about a Planet Hulk movie like 4-5 years ago and everyone crushed dude cause it never happened.

Looks like it's happening now :nerd:

Wouldn't be surprised if what he heard is true, but as is life I bet those rumors get twisted and manipulated by people down the line. I think we all know at some point we're going to see Wolverine and Deadpool together on screen

Not really though.
The new Thor movie is supposed to have elements from Planet Hulk but it's not a full fledged PH movie and they're not even telling it from Hulk's perspective.

Don't wanna turn this into another MCU thread, but regardless my point being I think El Mayimbe jumps the gun too early sometimes. At the time of him releasing the PH news, I guarantee that Marvel were still throwing ideas and not in any type of pre-prdoduction phase and I think he may have done it again with this Deadpool/Logan news.

Does marvel even have the rights to do a standalone hulk movie? I thought Universal still had them

Marvel did already make a standalone Hulk movie back in 2008. Not sure if the rest of the characters from PH are MCU characters though.

Marvel did not make that Incredible Hulk movie on their own.

It was a joint venture with Universal. Marvel was also involved in the Lee Hulk flick. Only difference is the producers that would go on to create the MCU were involved with IH.

To me if you hear a rumor about Marvel making a World War Hulk movie, post about it like it's gonna happen, then its never announced, and then in Infinity War pt. 2 Hulk is beating the **** out of all the heroes for some slight you didn't jump the gun. You were wrong.

The creative ppl are always brainstorming ideas at Marvel. There were movie scripts for Runaways, Inhumans, Cloak & Dagger, Thunderbolts, Blade, etc. as far back for some before Avengers came out.

You read those tweets, and dude is not just saying he's right he's telling the ppl involved they are wrong in a delusional smug way  That's some lamekilla level denial.

how are you gonna tell the man who actually plays deadpool on screen that he's wrong and you're right? even if it's cause Reynolds is keeping it secret he comes off as a major douche

Dead ***.

Yeah he just hops out there with a shred of evidence. Its hard not to believe he's making it all up. Also his abrasiveness doesn't help.

I don't get why this wasn't done in Feb. back when it was also being announced Logan was Jackman's last Wolverine movie.

I kinda feel they're lowballing/ignoring Cable. There is not a whole lot to Wolverine and Deadpool paired together. Guess they subbing him in for Spider-Man.

People think they want that then fox will convince him to be in another 10 crappy xmen movies.

Jackman doesn't want to be Logan anymore not petition gonna make him change his mind, the studio can't do **** about that.

Maybe this is what Tim Miller and Ryan beefed about. Ryan wants a Logan wade crossover and Miller was like let's just ride the wave with cable not focus too far down the line

Just focus on getting a good Cable instead of keeping wolverine who people are sick of seeing.

To be fair this isn't the studio, Reynolds wants to do it but they have the sequel set by now with Cable and Domino.

If Logan fails miserably, I wouldn't be surprised if Jackman does another one, plus he seems cool with his fans and I could see him doing one more for them/us.

I think Logan might **** around and do some numbers, if they knock out another solid trailer and the reviews are good they could do better than expected.

Plus depending on how well it's received might persuade Jackman to come back if creatively they refreshed the character. IF they don't kill him at the end of. Logan though which ithey very well might.
