What? It was a good movie but not that good. The oscars must want 15-20 movies in the best film category this year.
 
is FOX close to losing the rights or something if they wait too long to make movies with these properties??
why haven't they started striking a deal with marvel, it's simply absurd that even after CW and even more absurd after the first Homecoming teaser that they aren't beggin Marvel for a deal. I seriously haven't seen an X-men movie in theaters since X3. Literally the inclusion of these characters in the MCU equals $$$.
I was telling my bro in law the other day, MCU has me brainwashed without me even knowing it, if it's Marvel and not in the universe I'm not taking it seriously.

The feedback for Logan has to be overwhelmingly positive for me to even consider dropping money in theaters.

Supernova is most likely just a working title meant to throw people off the trail. It's almost definitely code for Phoenix

Why are these guys thinking ppl want a X-Men based tv show in the movie continuity?

Do it the DC way. Nothing about being in the movie world is attractive. They're not getting cameos from Jackman or Stewart let alone Fassbender. What X movie is there even worth being set during?

They'd get more out of setting things in Deadpool continuity.

Wait 3 more years or so. If they make no F4 plans it's back at Marvel.

X-Men are a lost cause. Like I don't even see the point of Marvel bothering to give them a Sony deal unless it was to get the F4 sooner.

There's an outside chance of Fox wants to do a deal it ends up being with Ike and not Feige. Then Ike just brings back the creative committee to run the X movieverse if they still don't have a guy like Feige by then.

I forget where did Deadpool happen again?

What state or country? Was it Canada on the low?

I remember generic locations; highway, bar, broke down helicarrier, where he got experimented on. I know there was one part early on where he's walking around town but I can't nail it .

I assume with Dopinder returning, some of the movie is in the same place.

DEADPOOL 2 Writers Reveal That Cable's Convoluted Origin Story Won't Be Touched Upon In This Movie


Collider caught up with the film's screenwriters to quiz them about how they plan on handling Cable, and Paul Wernick had the following response:

"So with Cable, he’s got such a convoluted past, and such a convoluted origin story that I think we’re going to try to leave that, not mysterious, but there are a lot of twists and turns, cloning and all this stuff where you go, “Oh my God. How do we get that across in a two hour movie?” I think we’re going to distill him down to his essence. It will be authentic and faithful, but it’s not going to include the 18,000 details if you were going to read a Wikipedia page about Cable you’d roll your eyes"

It is but just streamline it; got infected with a virus by Apocalypse, was sent to be raised in the future so he could survive, time travelled back to his time looking like an old man that uses big guns still infected by the vjrus on a mission to prevent Apocalypse from ruling the world. Also fights for mutant survival.

But since it's a Deadpool movie, just call him a time travelling mutant.

I believe there were reports late last year that a Deadpool 3 film with the XForce are already in the works.

I think it will all depend how Cable is accepted by the public and then it'll evolve from there.

It's really a toss-up, don't be surprised if the original three villains from the first film is actually in the sequel (Wyre, Garrison Kane and Sluggo) who were removed or combined into Ajax due to budget constraints.

Their budget is bigger now so they have more room for bigger name villains and heavier cgi so the door is open for them to get someone more popular but Fox will likely give the final say in case it's someone they plan to use in an XMen film in the future.

Honestly, I wouldn't be surprised if the two are actually against each in the beginning. Also keep in mind that Domino is in it too so she could be the antagonist as well.
