So i'm reading up on the making of Deadpool for fun, and I'm reading that Deadpool almost didn't happen.

A couple days before Deadpool was supposed to green light, they told the writers that they wanted 7 million cut from the budget. If the writers couldn't figure out to make the script work, they weren't going to move forward with the movie

Thank god they were able to make it happen.

Everything about Deapool that was true to the comics become alive on screen.

If you're a dead pool fan - you'll have to take your pants to the nearest dry cleaners.

Dope movie. Probably my favorite fox marvel movie outside of X2.

Not a huge Reynolds fan, but he killed it.

Morena and Gina were looking fine

I think they took some Liberty in terms of content (sex, language, nudity) but comics don't translate well to movies in terms of ratings.

With that being said, very good movie. The theater carded us 3 times from purchase of tickets to entering in lol, treated it like an NC-17 movie. It was a very hard-R though, definitely wouldn't recommend taking young children into it. It's one thing to read Deadpool comics but some of that stuff on the big screen gets lost in translation.

Overall an 8/10

Can't think of anything wrong with the movie, bad guy wasn't great as always, but did good enough...so I'm still gonna give it 10/10

Best CBM I've seen, over anything Marvel has put out....just flat out takes a piss on how serious most of these movies take themselves.

What I found really cool is how they used the 4th wall to juggle the distribution rights and issues....gave us a glimpse of how cool it'll be if it was 1 studio with the rights to all these characters, can't reference Fury so he referenced Samuel in the movie, having the HelliCarrier and the X mansion in the same movie was awesome man...why these studios do this to us

Also, the end fight was on a SHIELD Helicarrier....

Movie was flames and I hope it does serious numbers. The theater on base here had a line wrapped around the building. Film delivered in a big way. Colossus is so damn dope and I'm glad he finally got to shine on the big screen. Gina Carano is sexy as hell and we already know about Morena. Two thumbs way up for Deadpool.

It seems like a long time since Ryan Reynolds got a win. I'm happy for him. Shine on Van Wilder, shine on.

No you don't, you're frustrated because you can't find an outlet online for your disappointment in the film. Me being honest serves as that. Deadpool severely lacked.

As a Deadpool fan, movie was fantastic. You have an embarrassingly corny sense of humor so I'm afraid to ask,but any more details than just "movie sucked"?
