The Thing is not going to be that tall in the movie... right?

I have a gut feeling this movie is going to do pretty well
 
Should have gone with: beast, cyclops, jean, angel and iceman.. Maybe introduce havok at the end or show him briefly and add him in the 2nd movie

Magneto is still sort of an ally.. But has issues and could introduce his family if you want to stick it to marvel.. Then have the start of the brotherhood






Then in the 2nd film, you add: colossus, nightcrawler, wolverine and storm

And you plan out the villains:
1) some arbitrary villian while the team is getting together.. And you figure out there is a difference of opinion with magneto

2) magneto

3) juggernaut

4) mr sinister or omega red

5) apocalyse



Then the 6th or 7th film you do DOFP.. And you have other villains sprinkled throughout the movies above (like sabertooth, mystic, toad, pyro, quicksilver, Stryker, blob, lady death strike and the sentinels)

Not sure, he doesn't seem to be that big int he trailer though he still looks enormous compared to Chiklis-Foam-Thing

I saw this on tv and when he had his head down and dude was like what does he do. His head is down so I'm like is that really Doomashev the blogger? :smh: I thought that was a fake rumor :lol:

Well, there's a lot of talk about the director going crazy behind-the-scenes, getting fired from the Star Wars film he was supposed to direct, drug problems, etc.
 
There was recently a rumor going around that Matthew Vaughn was supposedly brought in to do some reshoots to fix stuff.
 
Interesting..yeah I want this film to flourish but the movie just doesn't look that good to me.

Fox would be smart to give Vaughn the reins for X-Men and F4.

I even like the idea of Apocalypse just winning at the end :lol: Ditch or erase that timeline and carry some of the cast for a shared universe with the F4 and X-Men. Hopefully not a lot in the F4 movie will contradict or conflict with the existence of mutants.
 
Say what Yall want about transformers but let's be honest, the potential for a solid movie was pretty low. All in all I think transformers 1 was as good as it could of gotten.


Now, what they did to wolverine is a tragedy. The source material literally plays it all out for them yet they'd rather create their own. I don't care that it doesn't fit in with the other x films time wise because it wasn't meant to.

What they did with wolverine 2 was just sad. The potential with higher than everything else IMO. Could of made a living anime kill bill style with ninjas and wolverine. My goodness how do you mess that up. Literally writes itself

They could definitely make some 7/10 movies with the transformers franchise. Transformers 2 and 3 were 3/10
 
Maybe ONCE they could of but a series? No way. It's just too special fx based to work. Once you've seen the robots transformer and fight for a movie it becomes repetitive. The transformers storyline isn't deep and rich either :lol:

IMO 1 was a good as it was gonna get if they just cut out some of the jokes and if they gave the bad guys more personality with a couple lines here and there

Now the waiting game begins for Deadpool. Man these 3 years are gonna be amazing for comic-movies. And once Blu-rays come out, marathons for everyone.
 
I agree but the numbers game says not all of them will be hits. Still, all you have to do is look up the old movies marvel tried in the 70-80s and see how far they've come. By those standards even Afflecks Daredevil seem above average. And before everyone starts the HATERADE on Afflecks hero flick, I will always be grateful that he was willing to take a CHANCE on a movie that, back then, few thought could be a goldmine.

To make an omelet u need to break a few eggs.

Don't have high expectations of Deadpool so I'll be forgiving of any shortcomings ie. plot induced stupidity, etc.

Just want it to at least be funny

The way they seem to be selling it so far, is that it's going to be humorous and not take itself too seriously
