No way Logan does numbers. That Hugh Jackman fatigue.

You would think but iirc The Wolverine was like the second highest CBM in Fox when it came out? That was before Deadpool and DoFP so it looks less impressive now but it being the "last" as it's main marketing might push plenty to spend some money on it.

$500m isn't far fetch and for Fox that is good returns especially since it is going to be Rated R.

The title "Logan" isn't going to draw to everyday people like "The Wolverine"

The everyday people argument doesn't make sense in today's age when you got Deadpool, Guardians and SS doing numbers off characters so called "casual fans" never heard off.

O think the last few years have shown that if you market the right way, cast stars people wanna see and have strong reviews you can win.

It will do well, fans will flock. But outside of Deadpool, can't say i'm a first weeker for anything else Fox/DCEU.

Logan will at least do The Wolverine numbers. But it has to go big the first two weekends with Beauty and the Beast coming out after the second weekend.

The title "Logan" can be a movie about anything and can easily get lost in the shuffle for everyday people..

Deadpool ate good too cuz it had zero competition, so when folks gave it a chance da word of mouth was gasoline cuz it delivered, hence where...

There's Logan doing #s and Logan being a good movie.

2 very different things
.

comes into play...

Logan got a week or so of no competition to give it a chance to have legs via good word of mouth, cuz when Beauty & da beast drops? it's taking no women or prisoners.

Whatever Deadpool earned worldwide, Law3001.. I'll bet you 100 reps Logan doesn't match that

*edit

760 million dollars.. No chance in hell

You game? :nerd:

To add to ninjahoods comment. Logan is the only one in that 4 week march line up that will come out a week earlier world wide is logan... that gives it technically 2/3 full weeks of earning potential

You such a hype my *****, no R rated movie anytime soon gonna match that and you kno it don't try and play me like that.

I say it will do numbers appropriate to it actual R rated movies.

650,000,000 worldwide. It made 425 million last movie and that was PG 13 so I'm talking a 200 mill turnaround.

We agree to terms than we bet you out trying to play a *****

i actually think it will do that well... didnt deadpool not play in one of the markets overseas too..?

if logan does plan in all its a wrap.

I think it was China and Russia I may be mistaken. I believe Logan will do well. Somewhere less than Deadpool and more than AOA.

Yea Deadpool was not only rated R, but it didn't even play in China, one of the biggest movie markets in the world.

Law3001, I'll do you a solid and lower the bar to 700 mil minimum. If you don't agree to that, then you never really believed it was going to do numbers, or you don't believe the movie quality is going to be as good as Deadpool's.

Nah Logan is going to do numbers. The initial reveal is one of the most important things and it nailed it and created massive positive buzz. Rated R doesn't really mean anything anymore. Plus it has the factor of being the last Jackman movie. And let's not forget that if it actually has good WOM

Also it's gonna have no real competition for until fast 8 on 4/14. Beauty and the beast will of course do well also but they aren't really going after the same audiences. And Kong is gonna bomb. Logan is gonna ride that wave that Suicide squad rode where there wasn't anything really around it and it'll consistently stay in the top 10 for weeks

Suicide squad did 325 million domestic and Deadpool did 363 million domestic. No way Logan does under 300 million domestic. And it's also likely to get a China release

I'm pegging it at between 700-800 million
