Agreed. They have to add some details in the costume aesthetics...I wonder if they realized his costume is so bland, they gave him the all-white sleeveless look in the current comic books?

Nah. Almost all the major characters got revamped costumes in Marvel Now and they killed it with almost everyone. Only one I dont like is Cpt. Marvel's. But they def killed it with Mags new costume

I think that is Magnetos Horseman costume? Looks like they get armor of sorts like Psylockes suit in the cover looks updated versus the one that is inside the magazine. So he probably has a regular one without much padding.


Apocalypse could definitely be better but at least Isaac is very talented and hopefully he makes up for it in acting.


Also, seeing Psylockes true to comic costume and Storms mohawk is a good sign that we might actually see a close enough OG blue and yellow XMen suits.

Looks like the same costume for Psylocke in both pictures, the picture inside the magazine has different lighting so you don't really see the armor.

You're probably right, that pic's too small too to see the details.

Also not sure how I feel about Erik's new costume.

Prolly the only thing the original trilogy has over the new movies was Erik's costume. They just messed up on the helmet.

One thing is for sure, there is no movie where they got the costume quite right. He gets a pass for that tho. No way to make his costume look good on screen. Some artist cant even make it look good on paper.
The Wolverine is still canon. Only thing that has been removed from canon is Origins: Wolverine and X3

Bryan singer specifically said X3 and X-Men Origins: Wolverine arent canon. As in treat them like they never existed.

X1, X2, The Wolverine, First Class, and DoFP are still canon. DoFP did not fix the timeline issues at all.

Me I just pretend they are two timelines that dont branch off each other (even tho they do)

Timeline A:
First Class
DoFP (which branches into two different timelines

Timeline B:
The rest of the canonical movies

We aint getting a reboot so its the best we can do for ourselves

They probably would've been better off cgi-ing Apocalypse a la Thanos.

thing about that is Fox doesn't really have access to the best effects studios so it would of still looked trash.

Disney owns ILM and Weta does all the DC stuff, I think Fox uses in house effect guys and they're pretty meh

Yes, Munn's cameltoe is going to be glorious.

Also, Fassbender has aged quite a bit, since First class.

New timeline or not, he'll still be ~20 years older than he was in FC since that was in the 60's, so I'm not too bothered by it.

And some of you give too much credit to DOFP being a good movie and the RT rating. The critics could care less about comics and as long as it is decent, they'll give it a pass.

Apocalypse looks like he belongs in the 00 X-men flick the design is terrible but I think the fact that it's bright purple makes it way worse

Navy blue and gray would have made it a lot less ridiculous looking

Maybe I'm crazy for thinking a design this bad will mess with Oscar's performance lol. He's a great actor but I think he might be miscast in this role, fingers crossed that I'm wrong though

Storm looks perfect and before even seeing her do anything I'm gonna say this will be the best version of the character

Gave DOFP another try with the Rogue director cut and it's still garbage. Ya'll trying to hard saying these X-Men movies are decent. This movie will be trash as well, probably IM3 status the way it's looking like.
